One breath later.
The blood cloud was completely devoured.
The stone stele's surface, blank just moments ago, now crawled with dense blood-red patterns, wriggling like insects, looking utterly nauseating.
"Snap!"
The Demon Leader twisted off one of his fingers and flung it at the stele.
The severed finger struck the stone and, as if touching liquid, silently melted into it.
The writhing speed of the blood-red patterns suddenly surged.
"Ah—"
An extremely shrill wail abruptly erupted from within the stele.
The Demon Leader roared, his expression ferocious: "Kill!"
The other five Demons bellowed in unison: "Kill!"
The very next instant.
"Boom!"
The stele shuddered violently.
The surrounding corpses seemed to be crushed by an invisible force, disintegrating one after another into fine dust.
A surge of blood mist gushed out of the stele, forming a circular gate, its interior a dense mass of blood-red.
