Her voice was filled with immense sorrow, as if her entire family for eighteen generations were suddenly gone.
Without hesitation, the old woman rushed forward, desperately clawing at the ice layer with her fingers, trying to rescue the mutated leech.
Unfortunately, the ice was too solid.
Several of her nails turned over, her fingers bled profusely, but the ice didn't budge an inch.
Twisted by desire, the old woman regarded the bloodthirsty creature as family.
Her own kind, however, she saw as lambs for slaughter.
After a moment.
An invisible ice needle sped over.
A small red dot appeared on the back of the old woman's head, and her pupils froze.
Her body swayed for a moment, then she fell backward to the ground.
She was dead.
Afterward.
The old woman's body vanished without a trace.
The villagers were all terrified and quickly fled, leaving nothing behind.
Only two villagers, used as sacrifices, remained in place.
