The police officer surnamed Li had not yet reached Ye Tianyu's room when the hospital alarm suddenly sounded. His face changed, and he immediately realized something was wrong, quickening his pace.
Arriving at Ye Tianyu's room, he surprisingly found no guards at the door. The police officer Li rushed over and pushed the door open.
To his shock, the two armed police officers guarding the room were lying motionless on the floor, and Ye Tianyu was nowhere to be seen. Broken handcuffs were left on the bed, and Ye Tianyu's hospital gown was discarded on the ground.
Police officer Li was in shock. How could this be? How could Ye Tianyu have escaped?
He immediately picked up his walkie-talkie: "Attention all units, Ye Tianyu has escaped from the ward. Lock down all exits of the hospital immediately!"
"Control room, what's going on? Did none of you notice Ye Tianyu's escape?" he questioned afterward.
