"You still possess your consciousness?"
"Of course... Are you human? You acquired my core? Why did you awaken me?"
The voice continued questioning.
Not only was the consciousness awake, but various logic also remained, making it feel not at all like death.
"I obtained your core and detected that a remnant of a soul was still there. I have a capability to sign a contract with you, incorporate you into my body, and gain a part of your power."
