Ring—
Du Wutao rode his bicycle swiftly past the night market street on the Third Ring Road.
He swallowed and finally arrived at a residential area in the suburbs.
His family rented an apartment in one of the inner buildings, a two-bedroom, one living room unit.
He lived here with his parents and younger brother.
"I'm back."
He opened the door.
Simple dishes were laid out on the table.
"Big brother, you're back?" His brother, who had just turned eighteen, was doing homework at the table while waiting for him.
"I'll heat up the food."
Seeing his brother return, he immediately stood up.
