Inside the room, three men placed the stolen phones and electronic goods on the small table, picking out items they wanted to keep and setting aside the ones to sell. The chubby guy reached out to grab a seven-inch tablet, but the skinny man smacked his hand away. "This could fetch a good price. Do you think keeping it will get food on the table?" he said, placing the tablet among the items to sell.
"How much can you get for a second-hand one?" the chubby guy asked reluctantly, eyeing the tablet with a craving he couldn't satisfy.
"Go check out who could be here this late."
The man referred to as the boss came out of the kitchen with a towel, having heard the knock on the door. The skinny guy glared at the chubby guy and stood up from the floor, saying, "Take your weapons, be careful." The boss handed the skinny guy a stick, then glanced down at their day's loot; though the cash wasn't much, the electronics might bring in some money.
