Perfikot walked into the laboratory, the automatic door behind her silently closing, isolating her from the outside noise. Her gaze fell upon the divine core floating in the center of the experiment table, its weak light rhythmically flashing like a heartbeat. She walked closer, lightly touching the surface of the core with her fingertips, feeling the chaotic energy contained within.
"As expected, still not pure enough," she murmured softly, a trace of disappointment flashing in her eyes. Although this core contained powerful divine energy, the mixed belief power was too heterogeneous to be directly used in her research.
She turned and walked toward another experiment table, where a precise alchemy instrument was placed, its center a transparent glass container, within which floated a few drops of silver-white liquid—this was pure divinity she extracted from previous divine creatures.
