Back at the Mountain and Sea Villa, Li Ruo was almost in a complete mess of tears. She had cried nearly the entire way back, her vision blurred by tears, and she couldn't even understand how she managed to drive home. She just realized it took her less than twenty minutes, whereas normally it would take at least half an hour.
"Ruo, why are you crying?" At the door, an elderly man dressed in white and practicing Tai Chi hurried over.
"Boo hoo..." Li Ruo burst into tears even more, flung herself into the man's arms, and sobbed, "Dad, that bastard Ye Chen bullied me!"
"What, he bullied you?!" The elderly man was taken aback and quickly asked, "Why is that? He couldn't have done anything beastly, could he?"
"No!" Li Ruo shook her head, wiped her tears, and said, "I confessed to him, and he actually didn't accept. I'm so sad, my heart aches!"
