Woodenware, lacquerware, candles, oil, paper, ink, inkstones, wine, soy sauce, ironware, copperware, tinware… the shelves were full. Whatever you needed for daily life, as long as you had money, you could pretty much get your hands on anything.
But as a modern person, having a wide variety and abundance of goods just seemed normal to him—nothing to be surprised about—so he simply ignored it. He didn't even spare it a thought, until now.
