Palmer was silent for a moment, looking at Bologue. Finally, a familiar smile appeared on his stiff face. He joked, "You won't make me go alone, will you?"
Bologue was taken aback, showing a helpless smile.
It seemed that although Palmer hadn't reverted to his usual self, he had somewhat regained his rationality. He wasn't becoming obsessive or crazy. Seeing his partner getting better, Bologue breathed a sigh of relief.
"Church is my friend too, and this is my revenge as well. Naturally, I won't let you go alone," Bologue continued, "But I will leave the final judgment to you. Is that enough?"
"It's enough." Palmer nodded, extremely satisfied with this.
"So, have you calmed down?" Bologue asked.
"I'm not sure," Palmer said with a complex tone. "My emotions have certainly stabilized a lot compared to before, but as soon as I close my eyes, I feel an uncontrollable rage."
Church's face appeared once again in Palmer's mind, "I always thought he was deceiving me."
