What was ultimately presented to Gray was only a terrifying explosion, after which the sole remaining Silent One suddenly became stronger, overpowering Bologue.
Then, Bologue absorbed the Silent One's Ether.

The Tyrant suddenly shouted excitedly, grabbing the remote control to manipulate the footage, the forward images began to review, zoom in, and slow down; he almost leaned over the TV, carefully scrutinizing Bologue's actions.
