The birthday banquet ended, and Ye Chen and Su Wanyi bid farewell to the Su Family and walked out of the hotel.
The two got into the car, and Ye Chen started the vehicle, driving toward home.
"Ye Chen, I was supposed to persuade Grandpa, but I didn't expect you would actually side with him," Su Wanyi said, looking reproachful.
"Wanyi, aren't you just worried about Grandpa's health? I can tell you that as long as Grandpa eats my melon, I guarantee his health will be excellent, even better than ours," Ye Chen said confidently.
Hearing Ye Chen's words, Su Wanyi thought he was just trying to pacify her. After all, Grandpa was already eighty; how could his health be better than theirs? It seemed like a joke.
"Ye Chen, your melon isn't some miracle drug. How could it be possible? You know Grandpa has heart disease, and it's very serious; it's not something that eating a little can fix," Su Wanyi retorted.
