"Little Chen, drive safely and give us a call when you get home," Mrs. Ye said at the door as she saw the two off.
"Don't worry, Mom. You and Dad need to take care of yourselves and don't skimp on food," Ye Chen reminded.
He was very aware of his parents' lifestyle. The two of them typically managed with just a little, saving like most families do.
"Your dad and I will take care of ourselves, so you don't need to worry," Mrs. Ye said with a smile.
Then she turned to Su Wanyi and said, "Wanyi, don't overwork yourself, make sure you get enough rest."
"Okay, Auntie, I'll come again some other day to see you and Uncle, and enjoy the dishes you cook," Su Wanyi said with a smile.
"No problem, just tell Auntie whatever you want," Mrs. Ye said with a smile.
After saying goodbye to Mrs. Ye, Ye Chen and Su Wanyi drove away.
