Chapter 91 - CHAPTER 91

c91: Two-Year-Old Super Saiyans

"Husband, I miss Xiao Yi and Bulla," Bulma said, her voice tinged with longing.

Though it had only been about a year since the Namek incident, Bulma had yet to visit the World of the Gods of Destruction a realm beyond mortal comprehension.

"Alright, let's go check on the kids," Li Xu nodded calmly.

He had briefly seen them during his encounter with Kane, but now half a year had passed since then.

"I wonder how the little ones are doing over there. Have they grown taller?" Bulma smiled with a mother's radiance, her eyes full of warmth and curiosity.

Universe 7, Realm of the Gods of Destruction

The two toddlers, Li Yi and Bulla, were deep in training under Whis's guidance. Though their training was strict even grueling for children the results were evident: their ki was rapidly rising, and their foundational control was shockingly refined for their age.

Whoosh!

Li Xu arrived in the God Realm with Bulma, space folding seamlessly around them.

"Whis, do you always eat while training others?" Li Xu asked, half amused and half speechless, watching Whis enjoy a dish while instructing the toddlers. It reminded him of how Whis behaved even when training Beerus.

"Li Xu, you're finally here! The meals you promised still haven't been delivered. I've worked quite hard training these two," Whis chuckled, as if entirely ignoring Li Xu's complaint.

"Dad! Mom!"

Li Yi and Bulla spotted their parents and immediately ran toward them. But their heavy gravity suits slowed their movements, making their run look awkwardly clumsy.

"Alright, today's a rest day," Whis said with a gentle smile. With a wave of his scepter, the training gear vanished from the children's bodies. He then turned away to give the family privacy.

"Xiao Yi, Bulla, how has life been in the Realm of the Gods of Destruction?" Bulma asked, her voice full of motherly concern. She understood well how intense Li Xu's own training was his methods were far from gentle.

"Mom, I'll endure it all! I'll become as strong as Dad someday!" Li Yi said earnestly. Though the training had been tough, he bore it with admirable resolve.

"Everything's okay, but the food here is awful!" Bulla complained with a pout, still a child despite her rapidly increasing power.

"It looks like Whis has really been pushing you," Li Xu said, nodding with approval as he sensed their growth. Li Yi's power level had reached 4 million, while Bulla's had reached 3 million.

Given they were just past two years old, that level of power was extraordinary nothing short of unprecedented in Saiyan history.

"Dad, can I try transforming into a Super Saiyan now?" Li Yi asked eagerly. He had attempted it on his own, but hadn't succeeded yet.

"All your conditions are in place," Li Xu replied with a nod.

"I want to try too!" Bulla chimed in, unwilling to be left behind.

"I'll guide you both but success depends on yourselves," Li Xu said firmly.

"Okay!" both children nodded with serious expressions, suppressing their excitement.

"You meet all physical and genetic conditions. What you need now is emotional fuel anger. Channel that emotion to unlock your inner power," Li Xu instructed.

"Let's begin."

Li Xu extended his hands toward them, and their eyes quickly became unfocused he had hypnotized them, not to put them to sleep, but to create a powerful illusion.

In that moment, the image of Caulifla being killed filled their minds an illusion tied to a deep emotional memory embedded by Li Xu. Though she was not their direct family, they had been close since birth.

Being born while Li Xu was already a Super Saiyan, both children had inherited a high number of S-Cells. This made their transformation threshold far lower than normal Saiyans.

Under the pressure of emotional illusion and the right genetic conditions, golden energy suddenly erupted from both children. Their black hair flickered, then steadily brightened toward gold.

"Noooo!"

With simultaneous roars, their hair transformed fully into golden locks. Their eyes turned turquoise, and the golden aura stabilized as they emerged from the illusion.

"Remember this feeling," Li Xu said. "With practice, you'll soon be able to enter Super Saiyan form at will."

"Dad, I feel so strong now!" Bulla exclaimed, her face lit up with excitement.

"Don't get too complacent. In the grand scale of the universe, your strength is still far from enough. You need to keep pushing yourselves in the future," Li Xu reminded them, his tone calm but serious. He knew that while the children showed amazing potential, they were still very young and pride could easily hinder their growth if left unchecked.

"I'll continue to train hard. One day, I'll be as strong as you, Dad," Li Yi said firmly. As a boy, his personality was naturally more determined and steady compared to Bulla's.

"Alright, for now let's focus on fully mastering your Super Saiyan transformations," Li Xu nodded approvingly.

"Big brother, how about a sparring match?" Bulla proposed. She was feeling confident from her recent transformation boost, and the surge of power made her excited to test herself. But what she didn't consider was that Li Yi had also grown stronger perhaps even more so than her.

"Sure," Li Yi nodded. He had just achieved Super Saiyan as well, and fighting would help him internalize the transformation better.

"Don't blame me when I beat you up and leave your face all swollen!" Bulla teased, grinning smugly.

"And when was the last time that didn't end with you crying after I won?" Li Yi retorted with a smirk.

"You're so annoying!" Bulla snapped, and without waiting for the match to be officially declared, she charged at him.

The siblings' spar began immediately. Li Yi, though stronger, held back slightly to avoid overwhelming Bulla too quickly. In both power and control, he was clearly ahead.

"Honey, you're being too strict with them," Bulma commented softly, watching from the sidelines.

During a child's growth, it's common for one parent to play the role of the strict disciplinarian while the other offers comfort and support. Bulma and Li Xu had naturally fallen into these roles with time, they would switch back and forth.

"They can't always live under our protection," Li Xu replied, his gaze steady. "Someday, they'll need to fly with their own wings."

"But they're still so young. Most children their age are living carefree lives right now," Bulma said with concern in her voice.

"Our children are different," Li Xu said. "They were born with exceptional talent. They're not destined to live ordinary lives."

With great power comes sacrifice something Li Xu knew all too well. Gains were often paid for in lost innocence or freedom. It was the price of potential.

"Still, Bulla was complaining about the food here. I'll go prepare them something delicious," Bulma said, walking off with a sigh. She knew Li Xu was right, but her mother's heart ached for their lost childhood simplicity.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The training ground echoed with the powerful clashes of the two children. Despite their small size, the shockwaves from their strikes were sharp and fierce, rattling the air around them.

"Big brother, take this Solar Flare!" Bulla shouted suddenly.

Li Yi instinctively shut his eyes and braced for the blinding light. But no flash came. Bulla had faked the technique. With Li Yi's eyes closed, she charged straight at him.

Li Yi realized too late that he had been tricked, and he quickly dodged to avoid her strike.

"You lied!" Li Yi shouted, annoyed.

"Brother, you're too gullible. If I really used Solar Flare, why would I shout it at you first?" Bulla said, sticking out her tongue and giving him a cheeky look.

"Dad always says that in the face of absolute power, tricks like that are meaningless. Now I'm going to get serious!" Li Yi declared, his aura flaring as he stopped holding back.
