The candy prince chapter 94 part 7
In front of him was his father being hanged up on a pillar.
Augustus could only look horrified at the scene before his eyes.
It was his father basically being hanged by his neck around a pillar by one of the shadow creatures.
Looking more closeley to the surroundings thats when he noticed the things around him.
Actually looking at it for the first time this was the throne room.
With a giant metal gold looking throne put right in the middle of it with two massive gold rods at each handle signifying where one would put their hand.
Wth the back of the throne having a lavish bright red cloth laying bare over it to show just how much the royalty truly mattered.
With behind the throne in the middle of the massive room was a window.
Augstus in all of his life had never actually seen this window it was a first for him.the window had what seemed to be religious signs or symbols as it showed a woman with a baby wrapped in white cloths with a halo around the baby and the mother.
The mother in the window looked proud real proud of the baby.The window itself seemed to be made out of glass it was multi colored stained glass and oozed with cost showing that it must cost such a pretty penny.
For this type of thing was extremely rare to come by in any sort of continent it could be considered a tresure.
Glass was a treasure since it was only available on one continent and no other continent.
Augustus ignored that and looked more around the room to notice the massive white pillars with a few of them extremely cracked and multiple of them having debris and concrete as thats what they were made out of all over the ground.
It caused a sort of area effect that there was sharp pieces of concrete all over the ground.
Looking more he could notice the massive checkerboard or chess board on the bottom of the ground perhaps it had signified something about this place once showing its importance but it was now a relic of the past.
Looking up at the sky even noticing just how high up the remnants of the top of the throne room went he could see even glass birds hanging up.
This room truly once was a beautiful spectyacle and now all it was remembered by was justr something of the past.
Augustus turned his attention back to his father noticing all of these things in the room within a matter of seconds due to his fast attention grapsing capabilities.
"Father i will!-" Before Augustus could finish the scentence the shadow figure already threw a piece of the conrete pillar at augustus.
"Dont move young one today you will find out the truth about the situation.Your father is a fallen noble and the world has no more need for fallens like him so we shall erdicate him."Said the shadow man his sillhoutte and demenaor and change of voice constantly erratic and changing.
"Just who do you think you are and calling my dad a fallen what does that even mean??"Said Augustus trying to get awnseres out of this shadowqy figure.
Before Ausgustus could ask anymore questions though it was already too late as it had happened.
His fathers very own neck right in fornt of him had been snapped in half.
Augustus could not remain his composure and sught out revenge.
But why? Why woudl he seek out revenge from a man that basically never even cared about him to begin with it seemed like.
Just what was the point? All of these thoughts crossing his mind as he got closer to the man but to no avail.
Just as quickly as he had appeared he had disappeared.
Ausgustus treid to run up to him to throw a rock at him.
A sharp looking rock but as he launched it to where he stood nothing happened the rock hit nothing and the man had disappeared once again.
Once again Augustus was left all alonme with jsut a few words from the figure as he stood there over his own fathers lifeless corpse.
There was nothing he could do now or nothing that he had wanted to do.
He wanted to die simply put and thats what he did.
He sat there for what felt like ages with the fire all around him the smoke the ashes.
Days passed by what felt like months Augustus couldl feel his fingers get skinnier.
He could feel the life ever so slowly leave his body going all around and through the castle walls.
With nothing else left outside of the castle either no food or anything Augustus knew there was nowhewre to go. No one left alive besides him. Most importantly no solution.
So he sat there waiting for deaths sweet embrace.
When suddenly it changed the world around him changed and so did everybody.
Eveyerboyd was alive and they looked like mini mrsshmellows and chocolayte candy bars.
Augustus got so hungry so so hungrhy that he couldnt help himself he had to grab one.
He had to take a bite jsut a small bite out of one.
"CRUNCH"
That was the deciding moment
