Before attacking he waited to analyze the battlefield. Just empty vast space of nothingness with small shiny dots and floating rocks orbiting a huge star. There Jonah saw light shining from the planet.
Jonah said to Koyonu, "Go! I hope for your safe return if it is possible."
Koyonu laughs it off saying "Don't worry, with the tech we have, they are merely ants waiting to be crushed."
"I wouldn't be so confident if I were you, remember the tides in wars like these can turn at any moments and when they do they turn around harshly." said Jonah.
"Don't worry, I will return" said Koyonu.
Koyonu and the 100 soldiers left for the main energy source near the star.
"Theseus" said Jonah.
"Yes, sir" Theseus replied.
"Prepare for war, sent the first line to attack" Jonah said in somewhat of a nervous tone but a hint of confidence showing in his expression.
Theseus said "Roger" as he told the first line of soldiers to attack while protecting Koyonu and the team helping them to go there without being noticed.
The first attack was launched. A barrage of light beams attack the planet.
The attack was devastating. Chunk of the planet was flying blocking the vision of others. As the chunks cleared the atmosphere few beams were hurdling towards them. They managed to use the defense mechanism to reflect the beams.
Jonah was watching with caution. Anything can happen at anytime so being cautious about every little detail was extremely important.
The was was still ongoing. Both sides were exchanging blows with their tech. Suddenly the formation of Jonah sent a nuclear bomb towards the planet.
The bomb exploded mid air and they noticed a mysterious glowing orb floating inside a box.
The light it was giving off was bright and it was very energetic. Almost like it would explode if anything were to touch it.
They dared not to touch it so they sent out huge chunk that was ejected from the planet into it. it exploded with huge bang. The force was tremendous and everything around it was vaporized in an instant.
Huge amounts of radiations came off of it
Luckily no one was harmed on either side.
Jonah waited to spot any openings. At the moment there seemed to be none.
Theseus on the other hand waited for Jonah's order, he was prepared to launch an all out attack as he orders it.
Koyonu and the others were able to reach the main center of their energy source.
Koyonu and the others infiltrated and were ready to attack at any moment but before that she reported Jonah.
"We're here" said Koyonu.
Jonah said "Can you breach and explode the entire system by any chance.
"Absolutely" said Koyonu.
"Do it fast, I think we're running out of time." said Jonah his sight unwavering from the sight of the battlefield.
Huge ships from the planets came out.
Koyonu and the soldiers launched an attack secretly navigating through the enormous structure.
Jonah watched for a while before doing anything. He saw that there were a huge number of ships and they couldn't hold anymore ships.
"Theseus, send the entire formation, we are not holding back now" said Jonah.
Theseus held the mic and said "ATTACK!"
All of the formation launched at the planet releasing a lot of electromagnetic waves to disrupt the communication of the civilization.
Huge explosions occurred left and right as the opponents side lost a lot of men.
While Jonah's army was also loosing a lot of fighting resources but it was no problem as they were winning. But Jonah reminded himself to not be cocky as everything could go backwards at anytime.
Now it was all about which side loses how many men before the opposing team is wiped out, surrenders or retreats.
