Daniel Parker felt puzzled when he received the call from the secretary's office. How could a middle-aged woman come to see Atlas Hallow, and why did the call come to him?
He couldn't help but inquire carefully and found out that the woman was Hailey Hill's mother.
This matter was rather tricky, not that the visitor was anything terrifying, but informing Atlas Hallow seemed slightly exaggerated. Not telling him might involve some subtle relationships unknown to him, and it wouldn't be good if something went wrong.
If it were work-related matters, it would be much simpler. He generally handled things while the boss was on vacation, but this kind of situation was hard to manage.
"President Hallow, Miss Hill's mother is downstairs and wants to see you." He still decided to call Atlas Hallow's office.
A cold male voice was heard from the other end: "I won't see her," and then the phone was hung up.
