Charlotte hadn't yet reacted to what was happening, only feeling as if her world had turned upside down, as she was pulled into a solid, warm male embrace.
She looked up, her gaze meeting Atlas's deep, ink-black eyes: "I'm just worried about your safety, that's all. Is it so strange to see me here?" As he finished speaking, Charlotte suddenly snapped back to reality, realizing that it wasn't an illusion; Atlas was indeed here.
But did her safety really require such concern? It wasn't possible for anything to happen; she was just visiting the hospital, it seemed a bit exaggerated.
He probably wasn't worried about her, but rather the little one inside her, right? Ever since she became pregnant, Atlas had been prone to overreacting.
The one who truly should be worried now was Luna.
