For almost five to six minutes, Shaan had been following Robin Hood, who was walking ahead of him, but strangely, he hadn't seen anything like what Robin Hood had mentioned earlier. There were only piles of rocks and paths that kept branching off, making Shaan increasingly confused as he went deeper into the cave."
"Robin Hood, are you sure there's something near here?"
[Yes, I'm very sure. I have a feeling there's something up ahead.] Robin Hood nodded his head. [Be patient, I'm sure we will find crystal sapphire as soon as possible.]
'I just hope what Robin Hood told me is true.'
After walking a few minutes, Shaan finally saw something not far from his position. At first glance, there was a brown box that was bigger than the suitcase the officer was holding. However, there was something strange. On the brown box, there was an iron chain wrapped around the surface of the box like a treasure box.
[Shaan, that box. It might contain the Sapphire crystal stone that you are looking for.] Robin Hood said enthusiastically. [We should check it out before anyone else sees it.]
"Alright, I agree with you."
Without much delay, Shaan and Robin Hood immediately approached the box and tried to open the iron chain wrapped around the surface of the box. However, the chain was thick and hard enough that Shaan had difficulty opening it. He then decided to break the chain using his dual swords.
'Crack-Crack!'
With a single blow from Shaan, the chains shattered and fragments scattered on the floor. Good, there seemed to be no more obstacles for Shaan to open this box, so with great enthusiasm, he immediately looked at the contents of the box, hoping that he could get the Sapphire crystal stone and quickly complete his task here.
"Huh? No, no, it can't be." Shaan once again turned his head into the box. "What the heck, it turns out that this box is empty."
Robin Hood frowned. [Strange, how can there be an empty box in a cave like- Hey, watch out!]
Robin Hood immediately pulled Shaan's body away from the box before the box managed to eat him. Shaan's face paled, both of his eyeballs widened at the sight of the box suddenly having sharp canines and long arms equipped with long nails. Damn. That was close. Perhaps if Robin Hood hadn't helped him, his body might have been destroyed by this horrible creature.
"Wh..what is that thing?"
[Insanity level increased by 30%]

[Mimic. A hideous creature that resembles a treasure box to trick its enemies.] Robin Hood furrowed his brow. [Gosh, I don't expect this creature will be here at all]
"Really? My insanity level immediately goes up to 30%?" Shaan shook his head. "This crazy is crazy. I need to defeat this thing quickly before things get even more chaotic."
'Swish! Swish!'
Shaan quickly launched an attack at the mimic, but unfortunately, the creature managed to dodge Shaan's attack. Darn. He simply did not expect that this creature had a fast movement.
'Dammit. I need to think of a way to stop this thing's movement, but how?'
As Shaan was trying to figure out how to defeat the Mimic, the creature suddenly jumped at him, giving him a surprise attack. Unfortunately, he didn't realize it at all until the Mimic managed to get right on top of Shaan's body.
"Ugh, crap!" Shaan tried to break Mimic's grip. "Damn it, get away from me."
[Oh no, Shaan! Hang in there!]
Robin Hood immediately aimed his bow at Mimic and shot an arrow. The arrow instantly shot past Shaan and managed to hit the mimic's body. Strangely, Mimic's entire body suddenly froze and did not move at all.
"What 's going on with that creature?"
[Mimic became paralyzed when struck by my arrow.] Robin Hood uttered. [Hurry up, get out of there before the paralyzed effect of my arrow disappears]
Hearing Robin Hood's words, Shaan immediately pushed Mimic's body, which was frozen like a statue, to the ground. Good, without waiting long, he immediately used his dual swords and slashed the mimic's body in half.
[Congratulations, you managed to kill the mimic.]
'Gosh, it's a good thing." Shaan sighed deeply. "Maybe if there were no Robin Hood, I would've died.
[Hey, are you okay?]
"Yes, thanks again for your help, Robin Hood."
[No problem. It's my duty to protect people anyway.] Robin Hood smiled. [Luckily, I managed to use my skill to paralyze the mimic before it could finish you off.]

"Yes, what you said is true. We have to hurry.... Oh, crap. "
Shaan's face tightened, and he slowly walked backwards when he saw two other mimics appear in front of him. Damn. It turned out that this creature was in a group and, without hesitation, just attacked Shaan using its sharp nails.
'Cling! Cling!'
Shaan managed to deflect the attacks of the two mimics by using his dual swords. "Robin Hood, now! Use your skills to immobilize these two creatures."
Hearing Shaan's words, Robin Hood once again shot his two arrows and managed to make the bodies of the two mimics freeze. Without waiting long, Shaan immediately used his spinstrike skill to successfully kill the two mimics with one slash.

"Ah, it's a good thing that my attack managed to kill those creatures."
[Wow, very skillful attack, Shaan.] Robin Hood rounded both of his eyeballs, looking at Shaan's attack. [I have no idea, you have such an interesting skill]
"Yeah, I just learned that skill too," Shaan explained. "Come on, we'd better go find that sapphire before another mimic shows up."
As Shaan walked back down the cave, he accidentally heard the screams of a woman a few meters ahead of him. The woman's scream sounded more and more wrenching. Listening to the scream, Shaan immediately ran with all his strength following the source of the sound until he finally managed to find the woman who screamed for help.
'Huh? Wait, is that....'
