Axel's expression turned odd. Before Meowth could speak, he stepped forward with Eva in his arms, "Meowth! That's right!"
Hearing Axel steal his line, Meowth, who was just about to drop down from the air, froze mid-air, looking completely dumbfounded at Axel.
"You stole my line, meow! That's really rude!"
"You brat! How do you know our lines?"
Jessie looked at Axel in surprise. It was clearly their first time meeting, but this guy actually stole their lines so fluently.
They'd rehearsed those lines for so long, yet didn't even get to say them properly.
'This feeling... Is more annoying than getting blasted off again by that brat!'

'You're in 3D, but saying 2D lines?'
'Aren't you guys embarrassed by this?'

Meowth stuck out his tongue at Axel, and quickly reappeared in the central control unit.
The next moment, a massive electric current surged from the body of the Gyarados, precisely hitting the exchange machine in the middle of the square.
"This is electricity we stored from Pikachu! It's enough to swap away all your Pokémon!", James looked excitedly at the exchange device lighting up.
"Yes, yes! When you no longer have your Pokémon, there's no way you can beat us!"
Jessie let out a classic villainous laugh, her eyes squinting like crescent moons.
"Then we'll take all these Pokémon and Axel back to Team Rocket, get promoted to officers, and be assigned as division heads."
"That's right, meow!"

These three weren't that strong, but they were often jokingly called the true protagonists of the Pokémon anime by many TV viewers.
