Zi Zhen's lashes fluttered open slowly, his cold amber gaze focusing on Ting Cheng's grinning face above him. A faint scowl tugged at his lips as he turned his head away onto the pillow.
"Get out," he muttered hoarsely, his voice thick with sleep.
Ting Cheng only chuckled lowly, ignoring the dismissal as he slipped off his slippers and climbed onto the bed, sprawling sideways across the mattress with feline grace.
Resting his head on his palm, he studied his brother's tired face with fond amusement.
"Tell Gege… what's tonight's little performance about?" he asked lazily, one brow arching in playful curiosity, "Auction deals, underworld greetings… or revenge games?"
Zi Zhen's eyes remained closed, but the corner of his lips lifted faintly with cold mirth, "All of the above I guess."
Ting Cheng's grin widened, his deep laugh echoing softly in the sunlit bedroom.
