Chapter 19 - Chapter 19; Do you miss him?

"I tried, but I couldn't track it after a few hours later, the location just vanished after the shore; I don't even know who could have betrayed me... That tracking chip must have been removed before the ship got any further since I couldn't tell at what position the cargo was in the ocean." He had actually tried but his mind couldn't think and function normally. He had been crying silently, not letting anyone know what was going on with him. He didn't want his brothers to laugh at him since they had tried to stop him from getting involved with such a messy field, but he was stubborn, and with his stubbornness, he just lost everything.

Lu Wan Ruyi picked up a laptop that was lying on the floor and immediately logged in; after logging in, she hacked into the CCTV cameras along the highway from the warehouse to find out what could have happened along the way up to the shore.

They could see the cargo lorries moving through the highway over to the shore, but noticed the lorries had passed through a black spot at one point and they lost their sight on them for like twenty minutes before showing up on the highway closer to the shore. She checked to see any difference detected after and before going through the dark spot.

The cargo lorries that went to the shore weren't carrying anything, and then, they were the same, but the number plates were nonexistent in the system and couldn't be traced in any way to anyone, meaning the guns had been offloaded around that black spot area. She zoomed in on the place and immediately checked the map line to see what was the possibility that something had happened around the black spot.

From the map and the buildings, there were two warehouses around that place but were old and abandoned, she couldn't tell who owned the places but her instincts told her the guns could have been offloaded at any of those places and then transferred to another lorry and moved to another place, or probably hidden around there.

Lu Ting Zhou was helpless and wondered about the possibility of finding the cargo. He had lost hope and knew all was lost. Nothing would be salvaged.

"Honey, what's taking you so long? Are you okay? Do you need help?" A familiar, warm, and calm voice echoed from the bedroom door as the door lock clicking sound followed before the door opened.

"Momma...." Lu Ting Zhou was scared that his father would find out that he was hiding there instead of being on a tour as he had said. Also, if he knew he was around, he would end up knowing what he has been up to of which he has always tried to hide. He knew, his father would never allow him to get involved with such kind of a business.

"Check this place around here, I will be back ... Work on it, I know we can solve this situation. I believe in you." She ruffled his hair, calming him down before getting up from the floor, "I just noticed some things were dumped around the bedroom, so I went around arranging them, forgetting about time and why I came upstairs." She closed the closet door before walking over to the bedroom, she walked over to him.

"Ooh... He's a grown man; how can he leave his things lying around the floor like that? I need to teach him a lesson. You can't babysit him all the time. He needs to man up." He coldly grumbled as he picked her up and went down the stairs over to the sitting area.

"It's okay, it's normal for kids to be in a rush! You do know how busy they can get, we need to be understanding towards them and be mindful." She didn't mind at all, but she didn't have any other better excuses to give as to what had taken her so long.

"Humph!"

"Do you miss him? Did you use his cologne? I will call him and tell him to come back home fast. We have enough money, and he doesn't have to go on those tours all the time." He could smell that perfume scent that was well known to be Lu Ting Zhou's favorite signature scent and the one he endorsed the most. It had this unique scent that they easily recognized him with.
