Alaryc, immersed in a trance-like state, saw his hair turn a dazzling white, while his eyes took on different hues, one violet and the other yellow. In this unique state, he felt the elements he wielded – fire, water, wind, earth, light, and shadow – merge into an entirely new form of magic: the Cosmic Void Magic.
Filled with immense power, he chanted a devastating spell he named Void Vortex. A titanic explosion ensued, reducing the surrounding area to a massive crater. The training ground was unrecognizable. Exhausted, Alaryc felt his legs give way and collapsed gently to the ground, unable to move.
In a faint voice, he addressed Freya:– Freya… reset the terrain…
At his command, the terrain returned to its original state as if nothing had happened. Alaryc, panting, grabbed a mana potion and drank it in one gulp, instantly restoring his magical energy. He glanced at his status window, realizing he had grown even stronger.
– I'm ready to continue, he muttered with determination.
Reactivating the combat mannequin, he resumed his training. Fight after fight, he refined his mastery of elemental fusion:
Gravity Magic, born from the fusion of wind and earth, allowed him to manipulate weight and movement around him.
Vegetation Magic, born from water and earth, made plants sprout at a rapid pace.
Corrupting Flame Magic, a blend of fire and shadow, unleashed a terrifying power that consumed everything in its path.
Over the days, his abilities and control became so impressive that he could be compared to an archmage. He had reached a level where even the best first-year students couldn't hope to rival him.
Returning to the real world after a long mental training session, Alaryc woke up, confident and ready for a new day. After getting ready, he stepped out of his dorm and crossed paths with Jake, Alicia, and Silvarya.
– Hey! Are you guys ready for class? he asked with a smile.
The four friends walked together toward their class, ready to face new challenges.
