Rae's POV
I know what I did was wrong but I couldn't help it. As was the one that caused it but no one's going to understand that right?.
Still lost in my thoughts, Alpha Kendrick rushed to the scene, staring at the maid lying on the floor. Is JS dead?
"She's still alive." I felt so relieved that I could feel my heartbeat at the back of my head. It was surreal.
Alpha Kendrick looked at me with the 'I know what you did' eyes, I wished he didn't look at me that way. I was scared at this point. He drew closer to me.
"Like I said earlier. She's someone you can't trust. She might even lead you to your grave Alpha Kendrick." Jerome spoke at the top of his voice, trying to attract more attention to the scene.
"Jerome, take her to the healer and make sure she wakes. When she does let me know, I'll handle her on my own." Alpha Kendrick's words stopped him halfway.
Not this time Jerome, you're not succeeding this time.
