AN:sorry for the short chapter but work has been kicking my ass this last few days the next one should be normal langth
After preparing the ingredients and the spell circle, she stepped into the circle. "So what do I do now?" she asked. First, drink the potion you made after I add the items that will fuel the ritual. Then, after you drink it, say the incantation; if all goes well, you should become a progenitor, though it may take a week for the changes to finish. I said as I put the items into place.
With a clear full moon above, she drank the potion to temporarily turn human before she began. "By the veil of night and the endless dark,
I call upon Nyx, Mother of Shadow,
She who birthed silence, dreams, and deathless hunger." as she started, the circle lit up in an amethyst glow.
"From mortal blood to eternal dusk,
Let the old flesh wither and the hidden self awaken.
May moonless skies crown this soul anew,
Neither living nor dead, but sovereign in between. Blood of the fallen, blood of the willing,
Flow as one beneath the blackened stars.
Let the curse become a covenant.
Let hunger become power.
Let fear become dominion.
By fang and shadow,
By grave and midnight wind,
I cast aside the weakness of the sun.
I embrace the endless night." as the chant continued, the glow grew brighter and an oppressive power filled the temple.
"Nyx, First Mother of Darkness,
Open the abyss and breathe immortality into this vessel.
Make them the First Among Vampires,
A Progenitor crowned in crimson eternity.
So the night remembers.
So the blood obeys.
"So it shall be!" as she finished, a stream of shadows encompassed her in a shadowy cocoon. And with a final flash of light, the ritual was done.
Well, that was interesting. Now all that is left is to wait for the changes to finish, so I decided to head to bed for the night.
A few days later…
It has been a few days and it appears that no one knows where Camula was after we flew away that night and it seems like the next one has already started to make their move, as multiple people have started to build a coliseum, and jaden has managed to beat that pathetic excuse of a pharaoh. So it seems that their plan to awaken the sacred beast is still ongoing and it seems that the tiger has been beating everyone who challenged her so far, including chazz and alexis.
Returning to the temple, I saw that the cocoon Camula was in started to crack open; after a minute, it broke apart, revealing that she was slightly taller, at about 6 feet, and the energy she radiated was much stronger, similar to that of a level 6 monster from when I was in a spirit world. She had longer hair, a large pair of wings, and was as pale as snow.
"How long was I in there?" she asked as she stepped out and used some magic to readjust her outfit. "Only a few days." I said as I handed her a cup of blood from a dark-attributed monster. After a few minutes of her getting used to her new strength, we started to make plans for the future.
"First, head out to reclaim your old territory and gather any remains of the other vampires while I gather the ingredients for the ritual to revive them and deal with the other shadow riders." I said. What I can do will take a while, but it shouldn't be that hard. I take it the ingredients that we need are hard to find?" she asked as she drank some blood.
"I only have a few of them, but I should be able to gather the rest over the next three months. This will give me time to finish this school year and provide us with plenty of time to complete the ritual and update them on how the world has changed." I said as I thought about what spirit worlds should have all the ingredients.
The conversation went on for the rest of the night and tomorrow should be when Bastion duels the tiger shadow rider so I want to see that.
