Over the past few days I had Hugin and Munin searching the island for any signs of the shadow riders while I practiced more in close combat and my new magic. In the process, I found the stone obelisk that appeared when the sacred beasts were freed, so I decided to tamper with it.
Finally, one stormy night while I was meditating, the shadow rider appeared at the top of the volcano, alerting me. 'So it's time for the first duel,' I thought as I used a temporary polymorph spell to turn into a raven and flew to the top of the volcano where the duel was about to start. There, standing on a glowing blue platform over the magma, were Jaden and Alexis, and on the other side was Alexis's brother, who was currently a shadow rider. It's surprising that she doesn't recognize him. And over on a small platform in an energy prison were Syrus and Chumley. 'Oh looks like the duel is about to start.' I thought.

"Now Elemental HERO Stratos attacks the Exploder Dragon!" The dragon and Stratos crashed into each other, resulting in a massive explosion that destroyed both monsters. Now, Elemental HERO Terra Firma, attack Mikazukinoyaiba! with a single punch, the dragon was blown apart and sent to the deck.

With the command, he charged up a fist of lightning before unleashing a powerful lightning bolt, which blew apart the revealed cream-colored dragon. SD: "Because you destroyed my Kidmodo Dragon, I am able to special summon a dragon monster from my hand, so come forth. Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon [Monster|Effect] Dragon/Dark

Jaden: " I will use my Elemental HERO Terra Firma, tributing my Sparkman, and that will increase my Elemental HERO Terra Firma attack and defense. With a charge of gold energy in his fist, Terra Firma launched forward and delivered a devastating uppercut to the dragon, destroying it.

"Now Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon, attack him directly with hellfire blast!" he said with sadistic glee. With the command, the dragon absorbed the energy of the other dragons in the grave before unleashing a blood-red fireball that launched Jaden back.

"I draw. Alright, this is the last turn time to end this duel. I will start by activating the spell "Monster Reborn" to bring back my Elemental HERO Terra Firma, and then I will activate the field spell "Skyscraper!". after saying this, multiple skyscrapers emerged from the magma and if anyone were paying attention, they would see a raven flying onto one.
Now this next card will put an end to this card, activating the spell Skydive Scorcher [Target 1 "Elemental HERO" Fusion Monster you control; destroy as many monsters your opponent controls as possible with ATK higher than that monster's, then inflict damage to your opponent equal to the highest original ATK among those destroyed monsters in the Graveyard (your choice, if tied)]. If a "Skyscraper" Field Spell Card is in your Field Zone, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the combined original ATK of those destroyed monsters in the Graveyard. Now, I target my Elemental HERO Terra Firma. Since both of your monsters are stronger than it, both are destroyed. Because I have a Skyscraper Field Spell, you take damage equal to the attack of both monsters!
With this spell, a sudden flash from the orbs of Elemental HERO Terra Firma slew both dragons.

'So the duel ended in Jaden's victory, like in the anima thats good but I need to stop these duels to slow down their plan to awaken the sacred beast.' As I flew down from the volcano, I saw that Jaden and his friends were checking on Alexis's brother. Now was my chance! I swooped down, grabbed the card that contained NightShroud's mask, and flew away toward the temple.
