Chapter 37 - Chapter 36

Dominick's pupils were dilated, and the feel of her small hand wrapped around his arousal was nothing short of intoxicating.

"You like it, don't you?" Jade purred, her hand sliding along the length of him, exploring his girth and savoring the expression of pleasure twisting his face. "You want to bury this inside me, don't you, Dominick?"

She pulled him completely out of his boxers, never breaking eye contact.

He nodded, cursing under his breath.

"I want to take you like an animal," he growled, feeling himself throb harder with each stroke of her fingers. "Damn, you're good at this... don't stop."

His eyes closed, his jaw clenched as he surrendered to the pleasure. He was stunned by her sudden boldness-but God, he loved it.

Jade knew things had gotten out of hand. The moment she realized she was enjoying it too-hearing him softly moan her name, watching his hips move toward her hand-she felt a rush of heat bloom between her thighs.

She tried to remember why she had started this in the first place. She called up every memory of his smug insults, every time he humiliated or infuriated her. She clung to that anger, desperate for control.

"You're gonna be mine..." he murmured, unable to think straight. The pleasure he was receiving was excepcional.

"I'm not your possession," she snapped, letting go of him. Pre-cum had slicked her fingers, but her face remained unreadable.

Dominick blinked, confused by the sudden shift.

"What are you doing? Why are you stopping?" he asked, drawing in a shuddering breath. His handsome features were bathed in confusion, and a few beads of sweat trickled down his forehead.

"I'm not your property, don't believe it by mistake, why? didn't you like it when I did this?" Jade smiled mischievously, "You didn't like me doing something you don't want me to do, huh?"

Dom clenched his jaw in annoyance, the pleasure that had turned to confusion and strangeness, turned to a huge anger....

"This is for you to see" she raised her chin defiantly, "don't mess with me because you don't know what I'm capable of.

"Don't provoke me, Jade," Dom threatened, his eyes blazing. "You're the one who doesn't know what I'm capable of"

He moved so close to her that their foreheads were pressed together. Jade's heart raced, sometimes she did things and didn't stop to think about the repercussions....

"Don't think this little theatrics of yours will stay just like that," she stepped back and Dom moved closer, until the back of her knees collided with the bed. "Who do you think you are to do this? Do you know how painful it is? How frustrating?" He was upset, very angry, "Of course you don't know because every time I did it to you, you could have come!

"You're not going to talk to me like that! I didn't ask you to do it!"

"But you enjoyed it!" He countered, his chest had a life of its own, rising and falling rapidly.

"I'll tell you again, I don't want or desire to sleep with you, because I like someone else, and that's who I want to have sex with," she blurted out. Although she wanted to be completely sure of her words, deep down something told her otherwise....

"I don't care what you say," he snarled, "your mouth says one thing, but your body...." he stuck to Jade so much that she fell on the bed, without wasting time he climbed on top of her, "your body responds to something else very different. It desires me, longs for me. Your vagina is throbbing to feel me inside you, all the way...

He had placed himself in the middle of her legs, and she felt helpless.

"You just want to do your holy will, touching me, kissing me and insulting me whenever you feel like it," she enumerated, feeling her anger boiling, she wasn't going to let him touch her again...," but no,

you will not have me.

"There are many ways to convince you," Dom had lost his mind, he was overcome by it, "just like Christian did, because I saw you kissing him, or are you going to deny it to me?

"It's not what you think..."

"No?" he interrupted her, laughing mockingly. Jade frowned at Dom's attitude. The memory had made him angrier than he should have been, the idea of his brother with the blonde made him truly upset. It was a very touchy subject for him, one that he didn't know how to deal with properly, on the contrary, it only made him defensive, attacking everyone around him, in this case, Jade would be the target of his frustrations. "That didn't seem like it, how much did he give you to sleep with him? Does he always pay you? See I can better the offer....."

His eyes were black, that dark brown had blackened with hatred.

Jade, stunned by his accusation against her, said nothing. She was processing his words... He had clearly told her that he was selling himself for money.

"You're a bastard!" she raised her knee hard, striking Dominick on his genitals. He, fell to his side, bringing his hands to his aching crotch.

The blonde jumped to her feet, she told herself that she didn't give a damn if Rick saw her leave the room in that condition and at that hour, she wasted no time and opened the door, leaving in a hurry, feeling a tightness in her chest, and a bitter sensation spread throughout her body.

She couldn't remember another situation as humiliating as that, and all the times Dominick touched her without her permission made her feel dirty... Used... What was she becoming... «Everything she hated», her mind played tricks on her again, she ran through the halls not knowing exactly where to go. By the time he stopped, out of exhaustion, he realized he was on the balcony that had been closed, the one with the many flowers. She looked down at her bare feet, apparently her shoes were in Dominick's room.

She cursed as she realized that her phone, keys and purse had been left in her room, and worse, the bank reminder document was still in the house, on the bed. Luckily for her, she thought, she had made it very clear to Janeth that she couldn't to go into her room not even to clean.

She crossed one leg over the barred band, the unusual flowers and vines lending an aura of privacy to the back. Jade finished crossing and admired the view. It was beautiful. Her brow furrowed as she noticed a small armchair, who had left it there? The situation was strange, even so, she didn't care.... He just sat down, and stared at the brightness of the city, enjoying the tranquility he felt at that moment.

She focused on thinking about everything...

Her life was a complete mess. Her father was on the verge of death, the bank was draining her few earnings, her family situation was more broken than ever, problems with her sister, the attempted rape by her stepfather... And as if that weren't enough, Dominick had become the cherry on top of the tragic cake her life had become.

He, who confused her, who pushed her to the edge...

Dominick had become her torment. She knew she hated him, every fiber of her being did... but she also desired him, with every part of her body that immediately reacted to his touch, his caresses, his words...

But she was aware that he wasn't good for her, and his insults, his bad temper, and his constant outbursts of anger only confirmed that.

On that small, old armchair, that night, she made a promise to herself: to focus on what really mattered and to stay completely away from Dominick. Because something inside her—deep inside—was telling her that if she didn't listen to reason, she was going to end up in a very bad place. She would lose herself, and she wasn't willing to let that happen...

Saturday, February 25th

Between overwhelming thoughts, beautiful memories, and important decisions, she had fallen asleep. By the time she woke up, the sun had already started to rise. The light was what had broken her sleep so early. She left the room and went to her own, where her friend looked at her strangely but didn't ask anything...

[...]

Dominick

After Jade left him in the room, he started drinking, realizing the huge mistake he had made with her.

He got up and began the ritual he always did after drinking himself into oblivion. He took some painkillers and something for his stomach. He showered and brushed his teeth. Once fully dressed, he left the room to look for her.

He was going to do something he hadn't done in many years: apologize, and try to explain why he had acted that way. He even considered begging...

He walked down the hallway, organizing his words. He needed to be careful with her, because Jade was prickly, and any word she misunderstood could spark another argument... And not that it was all her fault, no. Dominick knew how difficult he could be sometimes, and how easily he got angry.

He mentally prepared himself to stay calm. He came in peace.

He searched her room, and apparently, no one was there. After walking around a lot, he decided to ask about her. Some maids told him she was probably in the staff break area at that time. After some quick directions, he headed there.

Near the door, he heard the laughter of the blonde and her friend. He was about to go in but stopped when he heard their conversation...

"Did you already buy sexy lingerie?" Nerea asked her friend. "If you're going to his place, you have to. That whole 'he'll teach you how he cook' thing is just a trick to sleep with you. I'll help you pick something out!"

"Nerea!" the blonde scolded her, laughing along with her.

"Robinson's not like that, he's a decent man."

Jade's words annoyed him. Wasn't he decent too? Well... he had to admit, he wasn't. But still, he didn't like the way she referred to that man.

He kept listening closely. He wasn't usually nosy, but lately, everything about that girl interested him.

"But seriously, Jade, would you sleep with him if that's what he wanted?" the brunette asked.

There was a brief silence that made Dominick impatient.

"Yes," she replied. "Why not? I really like him, and I'm sure he likes me too. Besides, we've been going out for days now..."

Dominick felt uncomfortable again. That familiar feeling of betrayal returned to his chest, and it was completely stupid, considering he had no commitment with the girl to tie her to him.

He turned around, disappointed. She had been seeing someone else for days and still let him touch her at will. She was just like all the others, easy. He was angrier than ever and had made a decision. He would prove to her that he had been right all along... He could have her whenever he wanted.

Jade

It was almost six in the evening. She had showered, styled her hair more than usual, and dressed in her nicest clothes. She had also put on perfume and applied a floral-scented cream—all to impress Robinson.

The bruises on her face had been covered by Nerea with makeup. You couldn't even tell she had been hit.

She was genuinely happy to go out with him and visit his house.

Contrary to what Nerea thought, Jade knew Robinson wouldn't try anything.

She left her room and made her way down the stairs toward the lobby. Near the door, she spotted Robinson chatting with Rick.

She tensed slightly. Even though yesterday she had been too angry to care about being seen leaving Dom's room on the security cameras, today felt different…

She cautiously approached.

"Hi," she greeted. Robinson turned to look at her, clearly dazzled by her beauty, while Rick remained distant. He looked at her in a way she found… strange.

"I'm so glad you're here. I thought maybe you wouldn't come," Rob smiled, taking her hand.

"Here I am…"

"I've got to go," Rick said abruptly, without even greeting her. And the smile he'd given her the day they met? It was gone.

Robinson frowned.

"That's weird. Rick's not usually like that," he shook his head. "Doesn't matter—let's go."

She nodded.

Then her companion's phone began to ring. He pulled it out, slightly confused by the unfamiliar number…

"Hello?" he answered, only to hear something on the other end that drained the color from his face. Jade frowned, concerned by Rob's expression.

"What's wrong?" she asked. They had just stepped outside the hotel.

"It's the hospital…" he whispered. Jade immediately thought something had happened to her sister, but her heart dropped when he handed her the phone. "It's your dad, Jade."

The blonde felt a painful blow to her chest—she didn't want to think the worst…
