Then came the more interesting abilities. Speed and strength are useful, but that's not all Superman and Supergirl are known for.
"Let's start by flying..." - with these thoughts, I looked up into the sky and crouched down with all the strength in my legs. After that, I concentrated and jumped.....
*♪ Whoo! ♪
The ground beneath my feet slightly sagged, and I flew into the sky.... It felt amazing. But until I realized my problem, I couldn't fly.
I was able to jump, but after flying a few dozen meters, I suddenly began to fall. Of course, it wasn't a heavy fall, like a stone. No, I was more like a bird with wings, but unable to fly.
*♪ BOOM! ♪
Falling into the clearing and lifting a pile of dirt into the sky didn't hurt me much. I got up and shook myself off, and decided to try again. I wasn't surprised at the problems with the flight, but it was definitely worth trying a few more times.
After a dozen attempts and a lot of mud, I stopped my hopeless attempts. My wings were definitely clipped. All I could do was just jump high and control my fall a little.
Well, I think I've got it all figured out with flying. It's a shame I can't do it, but it's not a problem. I can easily land from a height of several dozen meters and not get injured, so everything is fine. Although of course after trying so many times, my arms and legs are already numb. I think if I fall from some high rise, I might break a few bones. But it's not critical for me, I'll probably recover in a few hours.
Anyway, even if flying is not available now, very soon I'll solve this problem, There's still plenty of food in this city that can strengthen me.
Well, time to test out the next ability. I'll practice ice breath and super hearing later. I'm not that interested in those abilities, so I ignored them for now. I have Weather and Ice powers, so they won't be of much use. And I already had super hearing. All that's left is to test the improvements and build on them.
I concentrated on the same stone, which was already pretty battered, and focused my vision on the cobblestone. The sensation was strange, I could sort of feel a certain power, but I wasn't sure how to use it. I didn't want to melt this rock or fire a heat ray at it. I wanted to test the x-ray vision first, and then the other eye powers. But it turned out a little the other way around...
*♪ Zzzzz! ♪
A pair of bluish rays flew out of my eyes and made a shallow hole in the stone. Unfortunately, I couldn't maintain this ability. I could only shoot it out and that was it. After practicing a few times, my eyes got a little tired, so I stopped. Apparently I was noticeably limited with this ability as well. But that's okay, I have other powers too.
What I was more interested in was x-ray vision. I remember when I woke up, one of my eyes could see through the wall. Now I wanted to repeat the process...
This time I was not concentrating so hard, but rather wanting to see through the object and straining my optic nerves, trying to see farther. I got it right away, without much trouble. My gaze went through the rock and forward a couple of kilometers. It was not surprising, of course, I had seen terribly far before, and now even more so....
After practicing with one eye, and then the other, I could see how everything worked. Still, I wanted to have perfect control over this ability. If I could see through everything, it wouldn't be very comfortable. But if I could control it selectively, it would be better....
Okay, I've got my basic powers sorted out, now I just need to consolidate everything and check my meta abilities. See if there's a change in them, too. I feel like that's a possibility. But in the meantime, I'm going to strengthen my Kryptonian abilities, that's the first priority...

While Hunter was training and marveling at his improvements in other areas, on another world, several things were happening on Earth-1.
Zoom stormed into Central City and attacked Flash. He not only beat him up physically, but mentally as well. He even made sure to show his weakness to the entire city, affecting his reputation as well.
Now, Barry was bedridden and there was no telling when he might wake up.....
But there were those who were more fortunate. Ray Palmer managed to escape from Damian Darke's captivity and finally found freedom. Although he was no longer the head of a multi-billion dollar company, but his journey did not end there. Very soon his life would be completely changed. The same will happen to Sarah Lance, who left her home....
Without Famine, the world was still quietly living its life. Hartley continued his developments. The company was growing rapidly.
Argus was devising a plan to disarm his most obnoxious opponent of all time.
Well, someone was practicing hard at Nanda Parbat, remembering some of the events with slight embarrassment.

After spending a couple of days building up my strength, I didn't notice the morning of the third day of my training. It was a lot of work, but it was definitely worth it. My meta-powers had changed a bit, too, and it was worth training them as well.
After washing up in the river, I headed to my temporary base to move all the equipment there. After my reinforcement, the place was no longer habitable. So it was worth changing bases....
This warehouse wasn't the only place I could go. When you're in a foreign world, you should always think about escape routes and additional shelters. So for that, I bought another building. But it wasn't a warehouse anymore, it was just an old abandoned factory. In fact, it was much better than my first base. I could install a lot of things there, like a shower for example. But, I decided to keep it and move there a little later. Looks like that later has finally arrived.
After packing all the necessary things into the stolen truck, I calmly drove to the new place. Even though all the toxins I'd isolated were still in the warehouse, I didn't worry about it, I froze everything and drove away. Even if someone used it, what did I care?
But the decision to go by car was probably a mistake.....
It was very unusual to move so slowly. As I drove along, I thought I was going to die of boredom. But it didn't last long. At some point the fun started... Bombs started exploding all over the city. Panic, falling debris, crashes. I even got clipped by some damn people. But I wasn't really angry, I was sick of the trip, I don't know why I decided to drive.
I looked out the window at the people running around in fear and grinned. Then I got out of the car.
