Chapter 181 - White Dragon Emperor

Chapter 181 - White Dragon Emperor

Looking at Roy approaching with a sword in hand, Kokabiel was stunned for a moment, then let out a self deprecating laugh.

"What, so you knew this secret too," Kokabiel sneered, unclear whether he was mocking himself or everyone present.

"That's right, with your status and strength rivaling a Satan, it's not surprising you'd know this secret," he said, staring at Roy with eyes, as if a realization had dawned on him.

"What did you mean by a world without gods or Satans?" Xenovia and Irina asked, their excited and angry gazes turning to Kokabiel.

They had just completed their mission and felt a moment of relief, only to be struck by Kokabiel's words like a hammer to their hearts, plunging them into shock and horror.

Both stared at Kokabiel, desperate for answers.

The fury in their eyes could have burned him to ashes if it were tangible.

For Xenovia and Irina, raised by the church since childhood, the God was their deepest belief, untouchable by slander.

Not only the church duo but everyone present fell into a stunned silence after hearing Kokabiel's words.

A world without Satans was understandable.

After the three factions war, the four Old Satans fell, a well known fact among the three factions.

The current four Satans were elected after their predecessors's deaths.

But a world without the God of the Bible was baffling.

"Roy, what's going on?" Rias asked, looking at Roy with suspicion, sensing he knew the truth behind it.

"It seems those fuckers did a fine job keeping secrets," Kokabiel said, a mocking laugh rising from deep within as he ridiculed their ignorance.

Secrets vary by audience.

What some must strive to uncover is easily accessible to others.

The mystery of the God of the Bible's death was no different.

For common people in biblical mythology, it was a secret, but for cadre level figures among the three factions, especially those with Satan class strength, it was common knowledge.

Their class were simply different.

"In the last great war, the God of the Bible perished alongside the four Old Satans," Roy said.

"What… what?" Irina stammered, dazed.

Xenovia's gaze wavered, darting between Kokabiel and Roy.

Asia's body trembled as if struck by a heavy blow upon hearing the news.

"The God of the Bible… is dead?" Sona said, struggling to utter the words.

For beings of biblical mythology, the God of the Bible's importance was undeniable, even for devils.

Accepting His death was difficult for everyone present.

"Yes, that's right," Kokabiel laughed.

"The God of the Bible died long ago with the four Old Satans in the great war!"

"It's normal that you didn't know. Who would dare speak of God's death?" he said, as if unburdening his final words.

"Humans are a race that instinctively prays to gods. If there are no gods, what changes would that bring to humanity? No one knows."

"Among the three factions, only some members know the truth. Those below are kept in the dark, strictly forbidden from leaking that the God of the Bible is dead."

"I've never heard such a thing," Rias said in disbelief.

"Cough, cough!" Kokabiel weakly coughed up blood, his ferocious face softening with anger.

"Why do you think I want to start a new three factions war?"

"Because the God of the Bible is dead!" he roared.

"Do you know? During the three factions war, we fallen angels had the upper hand, but because God died, Azazel and the others called for a truce."

"What's laughable is that Michael and the devils agreed to it."

"The war the three factions fought for so long ended in such a ridiculous way. It's a joke!"

"At the time, the war caused heavy losses for angels, fallen angels, and devils alike," Sona said, quickly recovering from the shock of the God of the Bible's death.

"If the war had continued, the three factions might not have survived. To preserve their strength and continue existing, a truce was the best choice."

"Yes, that's what those leaders thought," Kokabiel said with a self deprecating laugh.

"That fool Azazel even declared we'd 'never wage war again.' What's the point of fighting if the God is dead?"

"Are you serious?" he growled, gritting his teeth.

"If we had persisted, we fallen angels could have won!"

"Impossible. If the lord is dead, who protects us now?" Asia said, shaking her head in denial.

"That's right. When we pray, the lord responds. How could He die at the hands of the four Old Satans?" Xenovia shouted, as if reassuring herself.

"Exactly. How could the Almighty God die so easily? Kokabiel, stop spreading lies!" Irina added.

"Humans are so easily fooled," Kokabiel said, looking at the three with sarcasm.

"There's so much evidence that the God of the Bible is gone, yet you refuse to see it."

"Angels are no longer born. That's the clearest proof, and anyone who looks into it can find clues."

"As for your so called prayers, I can only say Michael's done a good job," he continued.

"There's a system in Heaven, created by the God, to answer believers' prayers. As long as it functions, believers receive blessings."

"But with Michael's ability, he can't perfectly run that system, so more believers have been abandoned in recent years."

"How is that possible?" Xenovia stood dumbfounded, barely holding her sword steady.

Her expression faltered, on the verge of collapse, though she gritted her teeth, clinging to her last shred of composure.

Asia and Irina, unable to bear Kokabiel's words, fainted.

Akeno quickly caught Asia, preventing her fall, but Irina, with Xenovia too dazed to help, collapsed to the ground.

As a cadre of the fallen angels, Kokabiel's words carried high credibility, especially on the brink of death.

This shattered the trio's last hopes, forcing them to accept their lord's death.

"Hahaha, I've held this secret for centuries, and now I can finally say it!" Kokabiel laughed heartily.

"Now give me the final blow," he said with a maniacal smile.

"I'm satisfied to have outlived the God and Old Satans."

Suddenly, a streak of light, like a shooting star, tore across the night sky, ripping through space and arriving at Kuoh Academy in an instant.

CRACK!

With a sharp sound, the meteor easily pierced the barrier around Kuoh Academy.

"What?" Sona and Rias stared at the streak, incredulous.

They hadn't expected their carefully crafted barrier to be so fragile, broken by sheer force.

This wasn't a special ability but pure, overwhelming power.

Undoubtedly, the newcomer possessed terrifying strength, likely surpassing even Kokabiel.

Seeing this, Roy leaped back, retreating ten meters.

The next moment, the meteor crashed to the ground like a meteorite, unleashing a violent storm that spread in all directions.

Amid the rising smoke and dust, a silver white figure stood.
