Chapter 7 - New Greek era

The Titans were repelled by a determined counterattack, aided by a few titans with the Hekatonkheires and Cyclopes. The New Gods were victorious, and all the Titans who followed Cronus were banished to Tartarus, where they would be imprisoned forever.

This great battle between the Titans and the New Gods was called the Titanomachy.

While the New Gods were celebrating their glorious victory, Euthalia sat alone, watching the stars in the sky, leaving the passionate fun behind, holding a glass of wine in her hand that she had not yet drunk.

"The battle is finally over. Father and the others have been imprisoned in the deepest dungeon in the world" - Euthalia

Holding out her hand, her power created flowers and let them fly with the wind.

At this moment, a bird landed beside her, it looked at her with its big round eyes and she knew who this bird was.

"What are you thinking about?"- Gaia

"Grandma Gaia, I'm just..."- Euthalia hesitated

She was silent for a long time before continuing.

"I don't know if what we're doing is right? I mean, even though father and the other titans are all strong and big, they're not bad people. They're just blinded by fear"- Euthalia

"So you think Zeus's overthrowing Cronus is wrong?"- Gaia

"Yes....and wrong, brother Zeus is just repeating what Cronus did to his father"- Euthalia

Gaia in her bird form landed on Euthalia's head and jumped twice as if patting her head to comfort her.

"You understand that principle, you are a smart child, Euthalia. I really did not put my trust in the wrong person"- Gaia

The bird flapped its wings and flew in front of Euthalia

"Come with me, I have something to show you"- Gaia

Hearing that, she looked up at the others who were still indulging in the party, so Euthalia quietly left to follow Gaia.

The two of them descended to Tartarus, the deepest place in hell where the titans were imprisoned, where Euthalia was presented with the real Tartarus. He was a huge giant with ash-gray skin, a thick beard, and a middle-aged face.

Standing before one of the primordial gods born from Chaos, Euthalia immediately knelt down to show her respect.

"It is an honor to meet the primordial god of the underworld, O great Tartarus"- Euthalia

"Oh, so you are Euthalia, the granddaughter of Gaia. If you compare yourself to your brothers and sisters, you seem to be smaller than them"- Tartarus

Euthalia was a little startled, this was something she did not like to mention at all, being shorter than her brothers was obvious, but being shorter than her sisters was something she did not want to mention the most.

"Don't say that Tartarus, she's just a child. A child with potential overshadowed by the glory of her older siblings"- Gaia

"So this is the child you're talking about?"- Tartarus

"Take a good look, isn't she special?"- Gaia

Tartarus heard that and coldly snorted then lowered his head to stare at the little goddess.

Euthalia didn't dare to breathe heavily, just hoping that she had a way to escape if something unexpected happened.

"So that's what you mean, Gaia?"- Tartarus

"That's right, what do you think?"- Gaia

"This still needs to be considered. After all, she is the younger sister of those brats. You can't just put your trust in her carelessly"- Tartarus

She didn't understand what these two were talking about, but she felt that they seemed to have some plan that needed her.

"Euthalia, daughter of Cronus and Rhea, descendant of Gaia. Although I don't trust the new gods like your older siblings, I will consider you an exception"- Tartarus

"Exception? How am I an exception?"- Euthalia

"Because you don't have your own selfish desires, it's not that you don't have any, but your desires are very simple. That's why you're different from your older siblings. Perhaps...."- Tartarus

Tartarus's giant hand extended its hand towards Euthalia.

"It's not a bad idea to put your hopes on you"- Tartarus

"That's right, we should put our hopes on her"- Gaia

"What's wrong? What do you mean, Grandma Gaia?!"- Euthalia

"Euthalia, my good granddaughter. You're very understanding, although I'm very happy, but because of that, I can't let that purity be tainted"- Gaia

Then a bright light covered the entire space.

_______

As time passed, the new gods became the Olympians after overthrowing the titans, a new era of Greece opened. The era where gods and humans coexisted.

To rule Greece, the three brothers divided the rule.

Zeus, the god of thunder and sky, became the king of the gods.

Poseidon, the god of sea and storms, became the king of the sea.

Hades, the god of death and wealth, became the king of the underworld.

Together with Hera, Demeter, Hestia, and allies created a religion for humans. By placing their faith and worshiping the gods, humans would be granted the powers of that god by the gods.

Greece gradually became more prosperous than ever.

_______

"Old gramp, what about Euthalia?" - The child

A child raised his hand among the children surrounding the old man to listen to the story. The old man stroked his beard and laughed.

"That's just an unofficial legend. There's no such thing as a god named Euthalia"- The wise old man

"But someone once said that besides Zeus, there was still someone who escaped with him"- The child

"The person who was with Zeus at that time was Metis, besides Metis, Zeus didn't go with anyone else"- The wise old man

"Oh, how boring, I thought that besides Zeus, at least one of his siblings escaped with him"- The child

A female figure in a cloak passed by and heard that story, smiled slightly and continued walking.

Suddenly, there were screams that made everyone startled, something very large was running towards, it was a cyclops that was causing chaos, causing the people to run away to save their own lives.

In the chaos, the cyclops saw a group of children surrounding the wise man, they were scared as that massive figure was approaching.

"Children, yum yum"- Cyclop

"Please save us!"

"Please let us go"

"No, no, Kraggul is hungry. Kraggul wants to eat"- Cyclop

The wise old man immediately stood in front to shield the children and raised his rotten wooden staff towards the big cyclop.

"Get out of here now, you big thing, or else the hero of the goddess Athena will come here!"- The wise old man

"Old man, not tasty, go away"- Kraggul

The one-eyed giant raised his big, rough feet to stomp on the old man in front of the children. As soon as the giant's foot stomped down, no red blood was seen, the wise old man shivered and tightly held the staff, then his butt touched the ground very lightly.

"You're old, don't push yourself too hard, it's not suitable for your age."

The cloaked woman had already moved the old man back to the children, she turned towards the giant.

"It seems like your brain isn't that smart?"

"Kraggul, hungry! Kraggul, want to eat!"- Kraggul shouted angrily

The cloaked woman covered her nose because the giant's roar and the stench coming from his mouth made her nauseous.

"If I talk to you any longer, I'll probably die from the stench"

Just as the giant used his foot again, the cloaked woman smiled lightly.

A moment later, the sound of horse hooves was heard galloping towards them. It was a group of soldiers from Athens sent to deal with the one-eyed giant, but by the time they arrived, the giant had already been defeated. When they asked the people around, the children excitedly said that it was a goddess.

Looking at the small village and then at the great city of Athens, the woman in the cloak sighed in frustration, the wind blew gently, causing her hood to flip open to reveal a beautiful woman with short, deep golden hair, on her head was a hairpin that flashed when the sun shone.

"It seems that I've been gone for a while. It's time to go visit my relatives" - Euthalia
