'I'll eat, read a bit more about Riveria's notes, and rest. I want to reach at least the 36th floor before returning to the surface,' Xin thought as he prepared his things.
Xin rested for 12 hours straight.
The place where he stayed was full of magic traps that he made a point to put as a precaution, but he had no problems with that. So he prepared, canceling his entire camp and defenses.
Now, he headed to the next floor only with his clothes, without a sword at his waist or a large backpack on his back, as he now had a small storage space, being able to summon his sword with just a thought.
'It seems there's no one on these floors...' He thought while walking around without finding any adventurers since he entered the capital of water.
Leaving these thoughts behind, he continued on to the thirty-second floor to explore a new level of the dungeon...
He continued on to the thirty-second floor, staying alert as he explored the dark and mysterious corridors.
With each step, the presence of monsters became more intense on each floor. Through his life detection spell, he could see the corridors filled with them in the darkness of this place.
Xin advanced cautiously, relying on his skills and spells to face the imminent dangers.
On the 32nd floor, darkness was the theme of the place, a companion shadow that enveloped every passage when Xin chose not to summon his Flame Atronach.
The environment was marked by a sinister silence, broken only by the subtle murmurs of the numerous monsters gathered in considerable groups, ranging from 20 to 40 creatures. A small impending horde that required caution.
Xin, aware of the imminent danger, advanced with cunning. Suddenly, shadows began to materialize in the center of the room, revealing the presence of monsters that detected him through the magic emitted by his Magelight.
Without hesitation, the wizard was ready to respond with agile movements and summon his new magic.
*Lightning*
*Lightning*
*Lightning*
*Lightning*
*Lightning*
In the instant the monsters rushed toward him, Xin acted quickly.
A series of lightning traps, skillfully positioned when he saw the first movements of the monsters, began to explode in sequence, illuminating the corridor with bursts and electric sparks.
The sound of thunder roared, echoing throughout the floor, alerting the monsters that something was wrong; no monster that fell into the trap survived.
But Xin didn't stop there. Again, strategically distributed lightning traps created an impenetrable electrical barrier for the monsters approaching after the initial attack.
The corridor became a flickering battlefield, with the crackles and bursts of lightning cutting through the air. Xin, firm in his position, used the intermittent lighting to
monitor the movements of the next hordes.
