However, in the midst of the conversation, Hestia looked at Xin with a mix of concern and understanding. "I don't like the idea of you going alone, Xin. The city is in chaos, and we don't know who else might be down there trying to retaliate between the two families at war."
Xin put a hand on Hestia's shoulder, trying to convey confidence. "I need to do this to prepare for the girls, Hestia. We can't rely on luck in this situation. I'll make sure we have the power we need to face anything."
Hestia sighed but nodded. "Let's discuss more tomorrow."
Xin wasn't done and turned to Utaha and Eriri in this quiet part of the Hostess of Fertility, away from curious ears.
"You know, to strengthen yourself, you'll need a proper weapon, Eriri,, i have soem good materials if you want to create new before the war so you just need to tell me when," Xin began, choosing his words carefully. "Utaha is dedicating herself to improving his skills, and she trusts you. I want you to be prepared to face the challenges that will come, even if thought you always fight and argue, i know that you see her as part of this family."
Eriri nodded, understanding the seriousness of the situation. "I'll do whatever it takes to help Utaha and protect the Hestia family."
"I actually want to train you to use both gun and sword while fighting, but we dont have enough time for you to master both, but having gun is enough for those scum but this not mean you will disregard the hand to hand combat."
"You have the knowledge, the proper status, and equipment, what left is the expertise and mastery for those two, and i know you can do it, you are smart girl after all."
Utaha, who was watching attentively, brought a simple but approving and supportive response to Xin's words.
"But... all my knowledge come from video games..... do you think thats good?"
"Game is the wides skill library you can find so i think thats good..." Xin murmured quietly so that she couldn't hear.
"Anyway, this will be your weapon, Eriri. You'll need to learn to use it efficiently. Utaha will be your partner, and coordination between you two is crucial from now on, understood?"
Hesitating for a moment, Eriri looked determined afterward. "I will do my best, Xin-sma. I promise."
"That's all I need to hear." Xin smiled, encouraging her. "Xenovia can help you with physical training. Let's work together so that we can all face what's coming."
"As for Asia, and Irina, you two know what to do so if there is something you want to ask, feel free to do so."
"Yes!"
"Thank you, Xin-Kun..." Hestia spoke beside them after hearing the interaction.
"Don't get emotional; I'm just doing the obvious." Xin understood Hestia's intention.
"Even so, you always act seeking a solution in the worst moments..." Hestia seemed on the verge of tears with this.
"It's true, Xin-sama,...." Asia also spoke, with a recognizing look.
"No, I act alone; you're the commander, that's your role and that's how train you. But we're here to support each other. You're new, Asia, but you'll soon learn to lead as well. Learn everything you can and strengthen your friends like Irina and Eriri," Xin commented directly. He didn't want the responsibility, and he would act alone, as his style suggested.
