"I believe you have impeccable dance skills, don't you, princess?" He smiled at her while asking, never taking his eyes her face.
"I learned a bit from my friend, Aina. We used to practice in my quarters many years ago in the forest of the high elves," She said categorically, as if experiencing a nostalgic feeling.
This surprised Xin with the elf's expression.
"It's the first time I've seen you smile like this..." Xin couldn't help but comment with a raised eyebrow.
"What do you mean?" She countered with a question.
Meanwhile, Xin began to lead the elven beauty in the midst of so many couples on the dance floor with the first steps; even Bell and Ais were dancing there.
"I always see you with a serious or uncomfortable face. It's the first time I've seen you look so... let's see... Natural, I believe that's the right word!" Xin laughed amusingly while the elf inclined her head to his chest, consumed by the embarrassment of facing this bold god.
While this woman was consumed by the embarrassment of the declaration, Riveria naturally followed Xin's steps, who led the dance, and it was something that surprised her too.
After a while, her state of embarrassment passed, she looked at the man in front of her, lifting her head, revealing a look that conveyed surprise and perhaps a hint of admiration.
"And you, what's your story with the ability to dance? You seem quite natural at it too." She praised him as he took control here, with quite splendor in her opinion.
"Before i become a god, my family is noble; I grew up with some lessons about things my parents expected from one of their children and hoped I wouldn't embarrass the family. So, I had many lessons on language and writing, laws, etiquettes, dance, and military training, a complete package, you know?" Xin joked with a wink in the last part.
Riveria laughed pleasantly at this, exposing another natural smile.
"Hahaha, I understand, I can relate because I didn't have a very different life from yours then." She said with good humor.
"So, a dance to our families and the expectations they held for us. I disappointed my family; I don't know about you..." Xin announced and continued to dance with a response of a playful laugh from the elf.
"Well, I guess we are more alike than I imagined..." She had to admit as she followed Xin.
They didn't even notice how time was flowing around them, each step of Xin in perfect harmony with the background music.
As the dance continued, they became the center of the place, as Xin merged the dance style he learned in this world with that of his past life, creating a unique and eye-catching aspect.
Rivera, in turn, could only follow him as he tossed and twirled her several times, but she was naturally enjoying it.
