Raizon was still buried under the new synopsis the eye revealed. It was suffocating and quenching him under obligation to follow a single path. His vision was straight focus on the single narrow street of the market. Goan and Shalon weren't that worried thinking it was just another stunt the man tried to do. But Raizon felt something was solved with that declaration. He didn't know what exactly, but he could feel the puzzle in his head solving. A piece was clearly set amidst the broken chaos.
A spied gaze was still chasing them, but this time Shalon felt the oddness of the situation. The spy was behind the vegetable stock that was just being piled up from a small truck. The two vendors were arranging them accordingly and that's when Shalon noticed the eyes. The spy, knowing Shalon sensed his presence, tried to dash back to the alley. But before he could step in a large turquoise muscular hand blocked the path.
"Damn, that bastard," the spy exclaimed.
Raizon was right on the mark with his fist ready to blow the face off. But the spy dodged, flying off his hoodie, revealing him to be the same intruder whom they faced off against on the hill.
"Long time no see, kiddo" he claimed and crushed the adjacent pub, risking several lives. Goan draws a shield supporting the colliding pillars to borrow some time for the lives threatened. People quarrelling out of the pub warned the surrounding houses. But it seemed that the pub was just a distraction created by the cyan user to evade out of the situation.
That was quite a disappointment for Shalon to let the same enemy escape twice. That's when he noticed the numb void Raizon was trapped in. It was the "Embodiment trapple", a trap that numbs the opponent and sucks some spectral energy from the user. Not just numbing the user, but the energy in that minimal time also helps guide the extractor.
Shalon snapping Raizon out of the void thought for the reason,
"Why would he need info about us?" Goan asked.
"Maybe he would try to attack us when we are most vulnerable," Shalon explained.
"What is their motive? Every terror that came our way had something hidden in their eyes. It was a pain and disgrace in this world. What would be threatening them to do so" Raizon came up with a different doubt.
"We will find out soon enough. Sometimes that's all we can do" Goan replied.
Hamock who was wandering around in the street market was within his own spindle of thoughts. He knew he wasn't happy feeding on the fame emeralds had. As emeralds were holding a gym session which credits points in accounts of spectral users, they needed a replacement for Patt's son. That's when they chose Hamock, his long distance brother. But Hamock was more interested in building his own name, every night he could just think about one thing, and that is to hold the strength in the gazes of the people applauding him. He wanted to show them all that he too was something exceptional. He was thinking and thinking when he collided with Goan.
"Hell, man. Look where you are walking" Goan claimed.
"Weren't you the one who came running?" Hamock asked.
"Well… ahhhh… it's okay. But watch it next time" Goan was trapped.
Shalon knew who Hamock was, but in the moment he kept quiet. He was observing him, trying to analyse his mentality. That, according to him, would surely help them when they challenge the emerald gym.
He got up, looked around, gave a smirk and left the three behind.
"We are coming" Shalon turned around, challenging the boy "you better be ready".
With no response and no attention, Hamock simply raised his hand without turning back. The trio was in a rush to return to the mansion. Butcher was standing to the door waiting to reveal the arrangements. The dim light of the nightfall was over the head when he noticed the three coming.
The dark tone was clearly making the decoration beautiful, with all the servants arranged in particular order to welcome the guests, the party was set to begin.
"Master will be soon joining us, junior" the Butcher was glad to inform him about the news.
Shalon on the other hand had no response. It was simply because he wasn't sure if it was true. That day he could clearly remember the stones thrown at the house. People were surrounding the walls and were trying to climb in. Policia were merely holding the barricades, while the people were clearly trying to break everything at site. That day every news paper had just one title, is Mr.Caping a help or terror?
The night creeped in and Shalon was still busy examining the grand decor. The silver flakes that never tend to fall, and the giant balloons that represent his childhood memories. Looking through the window he saw the rain grasping its pace. The thunder came as an Accomplice made executive sounds. With each spark the mansion was lighted more drastically. And then in the next spark, Mr.Caping was standing at the doorstep. The first one to notice was Shalon, he could feel him. His face was the same, but a little wrinkled and tired. He was a little skinny too. But today unlike old times he seemed soft and broken, running towards Shalon he gave him a tight hug that would never unlock. It was a flood of distance from his family that was now being drained at once. The site was beautiful and relaxing as the two rested completely on each other.
Mr.Caping handled himself and shook hands with Raizon and Goan. "So you are my son's lovely friends," he smiled "do take care of him".
Butcher was happy and satisfied that his efforts paid off. The two finally met, and not just that, additionally they were happy together. The night was long and the food served was too tempting for anyone to hold back. And what's more important was the fight claimed next day, when the three will march towards the emerald gym.
