Chapter 9 - Chapter 9: New Paths, New Faces

It was Monday morning. As the first rays of sunlight touched the window of Aarav's room, his eyes slowly opened. The sweet memories of the evening he had spent with his mother still lingered in his smile. He got up, freshened up, and sat down for breakfast, savoring the food his mother had lovingly prepared before getting ready for college.

Aarav's life was now moving in a new direction. His determination had grown stronger, and a spark to create something meaningful had ignited within him.

The moment he stepped into college, he was met with appreciation for his efforts during the college fest. His hard work, his style of getting things done, and his helpful nature had carved a space for him in everyone's hearts. But Aarav was still unaware—three particular pairs of eyes had been watching him closely.

---

On the day of the college fest, when everyone was busy, three girls had visited the campus—Bhavya Sharma, Meera Gupta, and Megha Mishra. All three were close friends of Priya. Though they chatted with Priya, none of them approached Aarav. From a distance, however, they observed his dedication, his behavior, and his habit of helping others—and they were quietly impressed.

Bhavya Sharma came from a wealthy family. Her father, Rajendra Prasad Sharma, owned a large clothing business that supplied garments all over Chhattisgarh. Her mother, Radha Sharma, was not only a graceful homemaker but also a jewelry designer for some of the most reputed brands across India. Bhavya lived in a luxurious bungalow in Raipur.

Meera Gupta was from Bilaspur and had moved to Raipur for her studies. Her father, a well-known criminal lawyer, was one of Chhattisgarh's most respected legal minds. Her mother, Sunanda Gupta, was a poised and understanding homemaker. Meera stayed in their vacation home in Raipur during her college term.

Megha Mishra was the daughter of a Chartered Accountant. Her father, Ashok Mishra, handled the finances for some of the biggest businesses in the state. He ran his own successful firm. Megha's mother, Sanjana Mishra, was the Head of the Commerce Department at Shri Shantinath Degree College, the very same college Aarav attended. Megha lived in an upscale colony in Raipur.

During the fest, these girls spoke only with Priya. But after seeing Aarav's work ethic and personality, they made an unspoken decision—to start attending college regularly and slowly find ways to talk to him.

---

When Aarav entered the class that Monday, he noticed something different in the air—an unfamiliar energy. Those three girls were sitting in the class for the first time. Priya looked at him and smiled gently. The other three simply watched him, silently.

Aarav found it a little odd, but he didn't dwell on it.

After class, he and Priya walked together toward the library. As they passed by, the three girls simply smiled at him from a distance.

Aarav still had no idea that a new chapter was beginning in his life. His focus remained on his dreams and his mission—but fate had already started weaving new turns in his journey.

The three girls began showing up to class regularly, and unknowingly, a quiet sense of admiration for Aarav began to blossom in each of them—something they all kept tucked away in their hearts.
