It was the same boring normal lifestyle. 

Waking up as early as 6am, and going to work at 7am. 

Working very hard like a working machine every single day and returning from work at 8pm.

But what was all that hard work for? 

She was controlled and used by her superiors, who had always claimed her merits and great achievements as their own. 

It was late in the night. 

After getting out of the blue bus and walking along the sidewalk, on her way to her tiny apartment, she suddenly halted out of frustration. 

The purse that was hanging around her neck, she removed it and threw it on the floor with an agonizing groan. 

Her pale face, which had dark circles underneath her eyes, looked up at the sky, and pointing her right finger at the sky, she quarreled, “Are you having fun watching my pathetic life?! Huh?! Are you going to mock me like everyone else does?! I overheard everything my colleagues said about me behind my back! They said that I was a naive fool! They said that I was only a tool to them, meant to be used!”. 

“But is that fair?! It wasn't enough that my superiors always took credit for my hard work. But, the colleagues I thought of as my friends had also been taking advantage of me, and I only found out about that today! Every single damn time, they all came to me, behaving pitifully and begging me that I should help them resolve their own work issues, and I, as naive and foolish as I am, helped them out, despite the stress involved in it”. 

“I do not even remember the last time I had a good night's sleep! Why is this world so cruel to me?! Is it because I don't have any people to call my family?! Is it because I don't have parents?!”. She yelled at the top of her lungs and held her chest using her left hand. 

The passersby stared at her and were muttering to themselves, “She must have gone crazy”. 

Yeah, she had gone crazy. Crazy because of her unfair life, that she didn't care at all if it all came to an end.

“What I would give to be the boss of my own life!”. She yelled again, before she broke down crying and slowly sat down on the ground.

Her palms covered her face for a few seconds, not having a single clue that those few seconds would change her life for good. 

“Watch out!!!”. Someone screamed at her, but it was too late for her. 

She removed her palms from her face and silently watched as a car drove recklessly towards her. 

‘See? My life is pathetic’. She thought, before her body was crushed. And before she lost consciousness and died, her body was drenched in blood.

Opening her eyes, she got very confused. 

The first words that came out of her mouth were this: "Didn't I die?”. 

Staring at her surroundings, she got even more confused. 

As she sat up on the bed, she felt a stinging pain in her head as a flood of memories, which she knew didn't belong to her, flashed in her mind. 

“Wait, what? Since when am I the granddaughter of a farmer and the daughter of the great wing city leading superstars? And since when did I have a Cheat Farm System and a fiancè?! I don’t understand any of these, you freak. I am not Piper Graham. You got the wrong person”. 
….

“Hahaha! The old me is dead starting from this very moment! Watch me climb up to wealth using my Cheat Farm System! In this new life, I will become the boss, not the employee!!”. She jumped around her tiny bedroom as she shouted to her heart's content after realizing that she had been given a new shot at life.

The fox was standing a foot away from Paola. <Hey, can you squat so that you will be closer to me? I am short, and I want to explain everything I know to you, and I don't want you to say you didn't hear me clearly or say you did not understand what I am saying>.


'What is the worst that could happen to me that has not already happened to me?'. Paola thought to herself as she squatted with both knees on the floor. 


Her eyes were fixed on the short chubby orange fox. 


The white dress she was currently wearing covered her knees completely. 


<Look here, Paola. Piper Graham is a very pitiful and lovely child. Ever since she was born, I have been watching her from time to time from my realm. She was neglected by both her parents because they treasured their careers over their own daughter>.


"I know that. I have heard some stories about Piper Graham". Paola replied to the fox, and he nodded at her, before he continued to speak. 


<Piper Graham's parents are friends with Mrs Zuri Turner and Mr Zane Turner. After Piper's mother gave birth to her, Mrs Zuri Turner and Mr Zane Turner had an idea of uniting both families through marriage. So, they paired up Piper Graham and Spencer Turner together, making them fianceè and fiancé at such a young age. But as time went by, Piper Graham was neglected by her own parents. Although her parents loved her, they cared about their careers more than her. Also, she was hated and neglected by Spencer Turner, who had no intention of marrying her, since he did not love her>.


<Last week, Piper Graham left her parents' mansion. She left the great wing city and came here to Flancholia, where her grandfather lives. Her best friend, Thalia, visited her yesterday. Thalia was in love with Spencer and secretly hated Piper for being engaged to him. That was when I appeared and chose Piper as my owner. I am a creature who existed before time, so all this while, I could only watch Piper from afar, as I could not descend to her from my realm. But, after I finally succeeded in leaving my realm and meeting her, I told her about her evil best friend Thalia, and warned her to cut ties with Thalia, but she refused to believe that I was real>.


Her finger was placed on her chin as she said, "No, this isn't right. If you saw Thalia adding something to Piper's food, why did you only tell Piper about it and not help her get rid of the food?". 


<I got rid of the food. Unfortunately, I had no idea that that wasn't the only food Thalia had poisoned. It was too late. When I returned to the house, I couldn't see Thalia anywhere, but I saw Piper unconscious on the floor, together with a half-eaten apple that was lying next to her on the floor. I inspected the apple and found out that it was poisoned. I never knew that someone could be so wicked. If I had known, I wouldn't have stepped out of the house as I was getting rid of the poisoned food. I should have revealed myself to Thalia and scared her away. But, it was too late. Piper Graham had died, and there was nothing I could do to bring her back to life. I was afraid that if her grandfather found her dead body, he might collapse>.


The fox stopped talking. He cleaned the drop of tear that escaped from his eyes and landed on his cheek. 


He suddenly smiled at Paola, confusing her. 


"What? Why are you staring at me like that? Is there something on my face?". Paola asked the fox as her hand made its way to her face and touched it. 


"Hmm". Paola placed her fingers on her chin as she began to think about what the fox had said to her. 'What the heck? This is very creepy. My spirit appeared before Piper's body without my knowledge? How in the world did that happen? Was it the so-called divine doing? And honestly, it was today that I found out that Piper's grandpa is a farmer. Additionally, I know that foxes are cunning, but this fox's offer is quite tempting. It told me that it was a cheat farm system. And since I am now Piper Graham and the granddaughter of a farmer who has a lot of land to farm, could this cheat farm system make the farm flourish and make me and my new grandpa filthy rich? Can I finally realize my life-long dream? There is only one way to find out'.


Paola extended her hand to the fox for a handshake. 


The fox accepted her handshake without hesitation. 


"It's a deal, Foxy. I will help you and make sure that the real Piper Graham is reborn. And in return, you will help me. By the way, are you a female or a male?". 


<Seriously?>. The fox asked, and after seeing that Paola was being serious with him, he stopped shaking her hand and said to her, <You have got to be kidding me. Can't you tell that I am a male?>.


"I wasn't able to tell". Paola shrugged her shoulders as she said to the fox. 


Still squatting, she said to him, "From now on, I will be calling you Foxy. Your new name will be Foxy. So Foxy, I need a detailed explanation of how you function. Do I have to do anything special before I would be able to use you, my cheat farm system? Just what are you capable of doing? I want to know everything that you are capable of doing".
