The shattered fragments spread from the blade of the complete Susanoo, extending outward for about ten meters, splitting the enormous sword cleanly in half at the center.
"Part of the Time Domain can't extend beyond its boundary…"
Kaede slowly lowered his hand, murmuring softly as he watched the scene unfold.
As the accelerated time surged to six times normal speed, the radius of the Time Domain expanded to a range of fifteen meters. The area where the Susanoo blade broke coincided exactly with the portion intruding into his Time Domain.
Compared to Kaede's calm, Uchiha Obito's shock was much greater.
This was an attack from a fully realized Susanoo!
And yet, Kaede had blocked it!
"Your ability… it surpasses my complete Susanoo?"
Obito's eyes darkened as he looked at Kaede.
Kaede's power was far more than just speed, Obito had realized that through their earlier battles.
Based on all the combat data gathered by White Zetsu, and from witnessing the fight firsthand, it seemed Kaede possessed a truly strange ability.
Something akin to a barrier.
Within this barrier's range, Kaede could nullify almost every attack. It resembled his Kamui, but was also an entirely different power altogether.
Obito had two guesses about it.
One was that it was similar to the Uchiha clan's forbidden jutsu, Izanagi, Kaede could cast an illusion on the "world" inside the barrier, altering reality itself.
To manipulate reality within that zone!
Such a power was incredibly formidable. Izanagi's price was complete blindness, but Kaede's cost was unknown.
If it wasn't this power, then it had to be the second guess, disturbing time itself.
Within the barrier, Kaede could interfere with time to a certain extent.
Whichever it was, it was a tremendously strong and troublesome ability, which explained why Obito had been hesitant to face Kaede directly.
But…
No matter what, sooner or later he had to fight Kaede. It was inevitable. So he might as well confirm Kaede's power now, with a real battle!
Kaede's power was strong, but Obito himself possessed the Kamui ability, capable of warping space, so he had no fear.

Kaede gave Obito a faint glance but said nothing.
His figure flickered as he dropped down below Konoha, landing in front of Jiraiya. Without looking at him, Kaede moved directly before Might Duy.
Might Duy's life force was hanging by a thread.
Kaede reached out, gently pressing on Duy's heart. A strange energy spread out, and the nearly extinguished flame of life within Duy surged back to over half.
After this, Kaede finally looked back at Obito and spoke calmly:
"Is Madara dead?"
"I'm not that easy to kill."
Obito replied coldly, summoning another Susanoo sword in his hand and slashing down at Kaede again.
Kaede rose into the air, flying toward the descending blade. His right hand casually swept out,
Crack!
The Susanoo sword shattered again.
"Don't pretend you don't know what I'm talking about, Obito… Rin is still in Konoha. Are you planning to kill her too?"
Kaede hovered at the same height as Obito, calmly meeting his gaze.
Obito narrowed his eyes and said coldly, "This has nothing to do with Rin. Are you trying to threaten me with her? It's pointless, even if Rin dies, I have the power to bring her back."
Kaede quietly drew the Kusanagi sword from his back and said, "So your goal now is to change this world?"
"Yes."
"To create a world without war…"
Obito's eyes shone with unshakable determination as he spoke.
Kaede was undeniably powerful and had saved many, even Konoha itself. But for this world, Kaede brought more pain than peace.
Kaede couldn't save this world or bring peace to it.
Only Obito could do that.
And to live with Rin in a truly peaceful world, he must endure whatever pain was necessary now.
But…
Before Obito could finish,
Kaede interrupted him.
A surge of fierce lightning chakra poured through his body like a raging flood, breaking through his sixth gate. Wild chakra soared into the sky.
"Enough."
"No need to say any more."
Kaede raised the Kusanagi sword, and as he spoke calmly, the blade slashed down toward Obito.
Saving the world, creating peace, to him, Obito now seemed no different than a teenager lost in delusions.
It was time.
To help Obito face reality.

The silver sword light tore across the sky in an instant.
Though the strike didn't carry the thunderous force of the Heaven Flash, the changes brought by the Sixth Gate and Sage Mode made its speed terrifying.
Even the dynamic vision of the Mangekyo Sharingan could barely track the sword's arc.
The silver slash came down like lightning, arriving before Obito in a single instant. It struck the front of the Susanoo, exploding into a burst of silver light.
Boom!
The fully formed Susanoo's head cracked like a shattered mirror, riddled with countless fractures from the slash.
At the Sixth Gate in Lightning Release mode, even a normal strike could surpass the power of Heaven Flash. It was enough to break through the defense of the complete Susanoo!
Those watching, Jiraiya and the others, were shaken deeply.
"Just one strike…"
"Is this… his true strength?"
Those who had fought Obito up close knew the Susanoo's defenses well. Even the third form Susanoo had been impenetrable. The complete Susanoo's power was despair-inducing. And yet, such a defense could not withstand Kaede's single slash!
Previously, Kaede's method of breaking Susanoo seemed too mysterious, more like some sealing technique than a direct attack. But this slash clearly showed Jiraiya and Hiruzen the sheer power Kaede wielded.
