"Impossible... How could she be an extraterrestrial being?"
Upon hearing the name, Morgan nearly blurted it out.
In the past, Britain had clashed with the Hun Empire several times, but only minor skirmishes.
Even spending recent years away from the palace, Morgan was no stranger to the name "Attila."
It was precisely because of this that Morgan was certain Attila could not possibly be connected to the master of the spaceship.
After all, Attila had always been the ruler of the Hunnic Empire.
How could she possibly be an extraterrestrial being?
"Has there been any movement from the Hunnic Empire recently?" Alvin suddenly asked.
Morgan shook her head. "I haven't interfered with Britain's interactions with the outside world. After all, that's King Arthur's duty to handle. As a princess, it's not my place to intervene."
'Why do I hear such clear resentment in her tone…? It seems she's still holding a grudge over her younger sister taking the throne as King Arthur.'
Alvin thought, though he kept his observations to himself.
After all, it's better not to provoke a Tsundere...
"Anyway, if we want to confirm whether Attila truly has any connection with the spaceship… I actually have a way to verify it."
Morgan raised a delicate brow.
"And what way is that?"
Alvin didn't answer directly, instead giving a teasing smile. "You'll know in time."
Morgan shot him a cool glance.
"Say it or don't, I'm not interested in Britain's affairs anyway."
You'd better be telling the truth… Alvin muttered inwardly.
Ever since Morgan had come to terms with her own heart, she had clearly started to care much more about Artoria.
If something were to happen to Britain in the future, Alvin didn't believe for a second that this woman would simply stand by and watch.
Of course, given her tsundere and contrarian nature, he didn't say that out loud.
That afternoon, Alvin left the royal palace and headed to a certain place — Millennium Castle.
After waiting outside the castle gates for a while, a "first-blood" servant entered to deliver the message, and soon returned, bowing respectfully before Alvin. "Lord Alvin, my master invites you in."
Under the servant's guidance, Alvin followed the path through the castle grounds.
Eventually, at the far end, he saw a blonde woman lounging lazily upon a throne.
Her golden hair cascaded smoothly over her shoulders. She wore a white gown embroidered with gold and silver threads, paired with slender high heels. Her crimson eyes quietly observed the boy before her.
"To think you still remember me," Arcuied said with a teasing tone, lifting her pale chin slightly.
Her golden gown trailed elegantly along the floor, its hem slit just above her calf, revealing bare, snow-like feet.
Cold, noble, and seductive...just one glance and Alvin could sense multiple, distinct charms radiating from her.
Her chest might not be as full as Lily's, but those legs really are absolute killer…
Alvin didn't have any particular fetish, he just appreciated every detail of the beauty.
Not to mention...this beauty was his wife.
He secretly glanced at her twice, then smiled. "I'm King Arthur's assistant. When I first returned to Britain, there were plenty of matters to handle. But as soon as I got some free time, I came here to see you, didn't I?"
Arcuied's crimson eyes curved slightly as she rested her cheek on her palm, looking him over with a faint smirk. "If you truly wanted to make time to visit me, you wouldn't have waited until now."
Clearly, she was displeased about how Alvin had neglected her ever since their marriage.
If not for her pride, Arcuied might have already gone to the royal palace herself to see what he had been so busy with.
Still, despite her words, she gestured for Alvin to come and sit beside her.
Once he had taken his seat, she spoke slowly. "Actually, I already know what's been keeping you busy… after all, Britain has been quite lively lately."
She knows about the outside world…?
Alvin was startled and quickly asked, "Don't tell me, you also know about the Beast invading Britain?"
"I know a little," Arcueid nodded slightly, her expression still maintaining that composed, cold beauty.
"These past days, although Britain has been in chaos because of the appearance of the transmigrators, it has also gained quite a lot from it."
"If it weren't for the transmigrators, then no matter how strong King Arthur is in battle, the people would still be starving due to the decline of the Age of Gods."
As expected, she knew quite a bit about Britain… Alvin fell silent for a moment, then sighed softly.
"The transmigrators have indeed brought about tremendous changes to Britain, but at the same time, they've also caused plenty of trouble."
"At the very least, I had never imagined that Beasts from different eras would appear one after another in Britain."
Beasts—they are also known as "Humanity's Evils," special existences that threaten human order.
Each Beast is incredibly troublesome.
Right now, there are only Tiamat, Sessyoin, and a few others… but no one knows if even more Beasts will descend upon Britain in the future.
And not just the Beasts...even Arcueid herself was a huge problem…
If Alvin hadn't previously cleared the Millennium City dungeon, this woman would have been an extremely troublesome final boss as well.
Of course… as a teammate, she was still very reliable.
"You came to find me because of Britain, didn't you?" Arcueid suddenly asked casually.
Alvin was slightly taken aback, then gently shook his head.
"I just wanted to see you."
Arcueid silently looked at the young man, her voice faint and distant.
"The Britain ruled by King Arthur is, in history, a nation destined to perish. But because of its cooperation with the transmigrators, this nation's civilization has begun to flourish, vivid and full of life."
"Isn't that a good thing?" Alvin couldn't help but ask.
"It is indeed a good thing." Arcueid glanced at him.
"But a dazzling civilization is destined to attract the attention of certain beings."
"For example… the Star Soldiers."
As expected… Alvin's eyes flickered, as if realizing something.
He subconsciously asked,
"The people inside that spaceship that descended from the heavens back then, you know who they are, don't you?"
Arcueid replied coolly with a faint "Mm."
"I made a non-aggression pact with her, but ever since my grand wedding with you, she seems to have become quite active."
Clearly, the initial non-aggression agreement existed because both sides feared each other's power.
But Attila must have already known Alvin's identity, as well as his relationship with Arcueid.
If she were to one day attempt to devour Britain's civilization, as long as Alvin opposed her, Arcueid would never just stand by and watch.
Since it was already certain they would become enemies in the future, Attila no longer hid her intentions...she had already begun secretly sending troops to the borders, seemingly preparing for something.
"If she invades Britain… would you help her?" Alvin suddenly asked.
"No." Arcueid answered lightly, then raised her gaze toward Alvin.
Her beautiful crimson eyes rippled faintly, her tone carrying a lazy, seductive allure.
"But I won't help you either… or rather, I won't help Britain."
Her relationship with Alvin was indeed very deep, but that had nothing to do with Britain itself.
If the Star Soldiers were to truly invade Britain one day… she would merely choose to watch from the sidelines.
Alvin lifted his eyes and smiled.
"That's enough."
Just knowing that Arcueid and Attila weren't on the same side was already very good news—for him, and for Britain.
"Rather, I should be thanking you." Alvin continued.
"Thank me…? It seems you really are fond of this country." Arcueid studied the boy before her, the corners of her lips curving into a faint smile.
"But hasn't anyone ever told you that gratitude shouldn't only be expressed in words?"
Arcueid's figure suddenly vanished from before the throne.
The next moment, the woman was behind him, leaning close as she gently inhaled.
"Your magical energy smells even sweeter than before…"
Truly worthy of being a vampire—her sense of aura was astonishingly sharp.
During the previous Holy Grail War, Alvin had obtained Sajyou Manaka's "Root Sharing." In a sense, his magical energy had indeed become irresistibly "sweet" to vampires.
Feeling the woman's warm breath fall against his neck, Alvin instinctively turned his head...and his body froze.
Too close… Arcueid's stunning, coldly beautiful face was now almost pressed against his.
Those ruby-like eyes, as clear as deep water, reflected the young man's face within them.
Arcueid leaned in half a step closer, slightly bending down, her voice soft and laced with temptation.
"You've entered the Root, haven't you?"
After a brief silence, Alvin answered, "You could say that."
He hadn't truly entered the Root in the strictest sense—but he had come into contact with it… through Sajyou Manaka.
"Can I have a sip?" Arcueid asked with a playful smile, her enchanting red eyes shimmering with faint desire.
"Of course. As thanks… I can give you something in return."
"White Dragon is a mythical creature, capable of harnessing several kinds of magical energy in this world... even that of the vampires is no exception. You could even gain a portion of my authority by absorbing my magic."
"But since you are not one of the vampires, you can't acquire my magic through the act of blood absorption."
Alvin sighed helplessly. "Then you shouldn't have said that in the first place..."
"I haven't finished speaking yet."
The corner of Arcueid's lips curved slightly as her fingertips brushed against the fine strap of her gown, pulling it down just a little, revealing her fair, smooth shoulder and delicate collarbone.
In the dim light, the soft curve of her chest was faintly visible, mysterious and deep.
Alvin's gaze lingered for a moment before he quietly looked away.
When you gaze into the abyss, the abyss also gazes into you...
The woman caught every bit of the boy's reaction.
A hint of amusement flickered in her crimson eyes as she spoke softly, "Although you can't obtain my magic through blood, I can transfer it to other parts of my body, allowing you to receive it by other means."
"Of course, for the proud White Dragon of Britain, this might be a little humiliating."
Alvin instinctively looked at the blonde woman and quickly realized what that suggestive glint in her eyes meant.
Could she be implying… that?
Arcueid lightly rested her fingertips on her chest, tilting her head slightly, her tone playful.
"So then… do you want to try it?"
