Lin Tian listened to his words and practically sneered.
Trying to pull that same stunt as the Ant King?
However, unlike the Ant King who was loyal to his own kin, this guy only had ambition.
After all, he was the first Demon King of the Uninhabited Zone.
No doubt, he couldn't stomach being ruled by goblins.
Lin Tian, naturally, wasn't buying his nonsense.
"Is that so?
Though you could argue you're dying for a pitiful reason, the truth is, you deserve it for this ambition of yours."
Though the Curse of Envy might have pushed them to try and usurp power, who's to say that ambition wasn't lurking there all along?
In fact, this Curse of Envy might even be helping him out.
"Your Majesty, do you honestly believe you alone can kill all of us?"
Seras asked, his voice thick with sarcasm and disbelief.
He felt nothing but scorn.
Lin Tian didn't bother answering, his disdain just as evident.
"I assumed any Demon King would at least have one mythic-class skill.
But it seems you don't even have that.
What can you possibly do to fight me?"
"Mythic ability?
True, I don't have that.
But I do have this Dark Twin Blades," Seras boasted, holding up his weapon.
"A Full Moon-class magic tool—more than enough to kill you!"
At once, Seras lunged forward with his twin blades, gliding across the ground so swiftly that in an instant he was in front of Lin Tian.
His dark blades slashed downward with brutal force!
Lin Tian sidestepped the attack with ease, summoning his blood spear from his space ring.
A strange, crimson aura surged forth with a hiss!
With a swift thrust, he aimed the spear straight at Seras!
Yet Seras wasn't that easy to bring down.
He dodged sideways, taunting, "Your Majesty, you shouldn't have attacked me…
Now, let me show you what the Dark Twin Blades can really do!"
With that, he tossed the twin blades to the ground.
Then, he grabbed Lin Tian's blood spear, holding on tightly to prevent him from breaking free.
The discarded twin blades transformed into two small, dark figures, which charged at Lin Tian at incredible speed!
This was the power of the Dark Twin Blades—it could act independently, clinging to its target like sharp knives, digging viciously into their flesh!
An incredibly difficult ability to shake off.
Seras grinned smugly.
"Go on, try to leave.
You'll have to leave that weapon behind if you do.
That way, you'll be certain to die."
Lin Tian tried to wrench his blood spear free, but Seras held fast, refusing to release it.
So Lin Tian activated Anubis' Soul Drain!
Before Seras could react, he slipped into a brief daze.
Clang!
Clang!
In that moment, Lin Tian struck the Dark Twin Blades with his spear, sending it flying.
"Wait!
No—AH!!!"
As soon as it struck one of the demi-humans nearby, it sliced right through their body like a hot knife through flesh, blood gushing out as they died on the spot.
It was certainly eerie.
But for Lin Tian, it posed no real threat.
"Now, what will you block me with?"
he asked coldly.
Whoosh!
Lin Tian lunged with his spear again, this time layering it with his Ruinous Howl skill!
Seras couldn't dodge in time.
The spear pierced his body, though it didn't hit a vital spot.
"Ha!
Our Horned Serpent clan's bodies are pure muscle.
This wound won't affect my strength one bit.
The only one who'll die is you!"
Seras retorted confidently.
For a snake, even if cut in half or its head crushed, it still retained an uncanny vitality.
Let alone just a simple stab.
But in the next second, Seras felt his muscles beginning to break down.
"What…what is this?
Did you poison me?!"
As a snake, he could recognize venom immediately.
And he could tell Lin Tian had injected something toxic.
Lin Tian gave a surprised chuckle, impressed with the result.
"High doses really pack a punch, don't they?
I injected a whole pound of Blood of Ruin into you.
How's it feel?"
A whole pound!
Even a single drop could strip an angel of their divine power, leaving them weak.
Let alone a creature like him.
"You…you all!
What are you waiting for?
Attack him!
No, save me first!
I feel like I'm melting!
AHHH!"
Seras screamed, writhing on the ground.
But the demi-human monsters around him had developed a fearful respect for Lin Tian and dared not move.
Lin Tian stepped forward, his expression dripping with disdain.
"Hmph, no one's going to save you.
I'll devour you piece by piece, and I'll turn every one of your kin into snake soup and jerky!
Because right now, I'm in a very, very foul mood…"
"You're the one who's going to die!"
"Death Coil!!"
Suddenly, just as he was nearing death, Seras sprang toward Lin Tian with a burst of renewed energy!
With his tightly-muscled body, he coiled around him with deadly force!
Seras, victorious, hissed, "Your so-called Blood of Ruin might be strong, but even at a third of my strength, I can still crush you to death!"
For the Horned Serpent clan, Death Coil was the deadliest move.
Once an enemy was ensnared, they couldn't use most active skills, essentially locking them down.
All that remained was to be squeezed to death.
Even iron could be twisted into knots by the Horned Serpent clan—let alone flesh and blood.
A tight, grating sound began to fill the air, followed by the crackling of Lin Tian's bones under the pressure.
The demi-human monsters around them finally let out a breath of relief, for this surely meant Lin Tian was dead.
"Didn't think you had it in you, you sly bastard," Lin Tian remarked calmly, seeming almost impressed.
"Such a powerful move—I can appreciate that.
If you weren't a rebel, I might've kept you as an underling, a sneak-attack specialist…
But you went and signed your own death warrant."
His tone was casual, indifferent.
Lin Tian's body flickered, distorted, and glitched, like a broken hologram.
The next moment, he strolled right out of the coils, his expression unperturbed.
Seras stared in utter disbelief.
"What!!"
He looked like he'd seen a ghost in broad daylight.
Someone he'd held tightly, just moments from crushing, was now standing casually at his side!
Thud!
Lin Tian's spear plunged down again, this time injecting a full three pounds of Blood of Ruin.
He felt a bit drained, but it wasn't anything serious.
The deadly blood, vicious like a virus, began to ravage Seras' cells, consuming his red blood cells, white blood cells, muscle tissue, and more.
Like a punctured balloon, Seras deflated, finally collapsing to the ground.
"You… how did you do that?
Why?
You're just a mere goblin…" Seras's voice was weak, his face pale as death.
His blood had been nearly drained; breathing became labored, his organs failing, muscles wasting away.
Lin Tian offered no explanation; Jehovah's Divine Blessing wouldn't be understood by him.
He simply walked slowly toward a tent.
Moments later, he returned, cradling two tiny, snake-like creatures, each the size of a chopstick and rather adorable.
"My daughters!
My daughters!
What are you going to do to them?
I beg you—don't kill them!"
Seras pleaded, his face etched with despair and regret.
A wicked smile appeared on Lin Tian's face.
"I won't kill them.
I'll raise them, groom them…
turn them into my toys…"
The deadly ambush skill of Death Coil was invaluable, and he could certainly raise two young Horned Serpent kin to use as weapons.
Once they bound an enemy, they'd become an unstoppable force of control.
"You beast!
You damn beast!!"
Seras roared, his voice breaking with anguish.
In the next instant—
A radiant burst of holy light shot down like a waterfall.
Judgment Execution.
Seras was obliterated, not even leaving a trace behind.
