Even the poisonous air spread across the realm seemed affected. Hidden venomous beasts felt an invisible pressure emanating from the earth, as if an unseen shackle had been placed upon them.
Indeed, the Great Yi Immortal Cities were regulating the ley lines, converging the land's spiritual energy, naturally projecting a commanding influence over the surroundings.
The moment each Immortal City landed and completed its initial transformation, city lords rose into the air, standing atop the walls, holding their city seals, and proclaimed loudly to the surrounding lands:
"By the decree of the Immortal Emperor, the Goblin Realm is now incorporated into the Great Yi Immortal Court, becoming part of Great Yi's territory. This realm is to be treated equally with all other realms. The Iron-Blood Great Wall has already covered the area, and the Immortal Cities have descended. Hereby, we announce to all human citizens and goblins: goblins may enter Great Yi Immortal Cities to obtain temporary residence. Those who achieve merit may register as formal citizens of Great Yi. "Any human may come to the Immortal Cities to register with officials at the Celestial Household Hall. A Celestial Registration Card will be issued, granting full status as a Great Yi citizen. Citizens will receive housing, sufficient provisions, access to the Scriptorium's branch libraries to select cultivation methods, and a Celestial Star Wristband granting access to the Star Network inner system."
The announcements echoed across the land.
Goblin citizens, previously hiding underground, exchanged glances before rushing toward the surface. Although they did not yet have permanent residency, temporary status within the Immortal Cities guaranteed survival—for now, that was enough.

After surviving the Demon Calamity, all pride had long vanished from the goblins' hearts. Survival was now their only desire. Discrimination? That no longer mattered.
Human populations within the Goblin Realm were extremely sparse. Without the protection of goblin structures, most humans would not survive the poisonous environment; survival was near impossible. Only a handful remained.
The goblin population itself was also limited. At present, no more than a billion goblins remained across the entire Goblin Realm—a number already generous.
Thus, the Immortal Cities had to draw additional population from Great Yi itself.
Once the Immortal Cities landed, their teleportation arrays activated immediately.

"Yes, Captain!" the others responded, and they set off in coordinated groups, heading swiftly into the wilderness.
"Quick! Don't let others get ahead. These venomous beasts are valuable. Their bones can infuse wine, nourishing the body. Particularly the Whip Wine—a delicacy. Hunt as many as possible. The Tongtian Pavilion's experts have already set out to suppress the demon lairs. Once the lairs are sealed, hunting will become much harder. Time is critical!"
Batch after batch of bounty hunters emerged from the teleportation arrays, heading into the surrounding wilderness—some in teams, others alone.
Many goblins returning from underground to the Immortal Cities were dumbfounded at the scene:
"The people of Great Yi… are they all this reckless?"

The goblins felt the palpable change across the realm.
Every hunter they saw was at least Third-Rank, some Fourth-Rank, even Fifth-Rank or Sixth-Rank. In the old Goblin Realm, they would have been unmatched powerhouses. Yet in Great Yi, such power was common.
Fifth- and Sixth-Rank Primordial Spirit and Yang Spirit cultivators roamed freely. Third- and Fourth-Rank Life Map and Dharma Phase cultivators were countless.
This was Great Yi's first overwhelming strike—a brutal demonstration. Any lingering resentment in the goblins' hearts dissipated instantly. Here, even the right to resist no longer existed.
