The citizens who appeared within the Immortal City were all relocated from the Hongmeng Heavenly Emperor Tower. Before being transferred in, they were, of course, informed of the necessary matters—where they were, their status, and under whose rule they now lived. They were also granted the right to log into the Star Network, yet what they accessed was distinct from the core intranet, the inner net, and the outer net. This fourth sector was named by the ministers of Great Yi: the Realm Net!
Its meaning implied a sector of the Star Network formed from Cave Heaven spaces. It also carried the connotation that in the future, these Cave Heavens could evolve into complete worlds, expanding and growing endlessly until they became Minor Thousand Worlds, Middle Thousand Worlds, or even Great Thousand Worlds. Each world would surpass the scale of a single domain within Great Yi.
The Realm Net was isolated from other network regions. While browsing was possible, direct communication with other networks was not; outsiders would not even know of its existence unless they had sufficient authority. Only the high officials of the Great Yi Immortal Court had the chance to gain such access.
Still, this was not total isolation. Cave Heavens could still interact with one another, exchange information, and remain connected. Functionally, it was an independent web of its own.
Yet, its people enjoyed all the rights of Great Yi citizens.
They could select cultivation methods, enter the Scripture Pavilion to pick out books, though when doing so, special barriers would isolate their presence—like parallel spaces existing in the same place, without interference, yet granting equal privileges.
Even within the Nightmare World, information from the Eternal World still flowed. After all, the Nightmare World was born from the fusion of Eternal and Yongye, woven together from the dreams of all beings. Thus, news of the Great Yi Immortal Court was no secret there.
Eternal Coins circulated freely within the Nightmare World, even highly sought after.
For these people, discovering that they had escaped from the illusory Nightmare World into true existence, becoming real living beings—this joy was beyond words. And when they learned they were to become citizens of the legendary first Fortune Dynasty of Heaven and Earth—the Great Yi Immortal Court—their excitement only grew uncontrollably. Expectation filled their hearts completely.
Becoming a citizen of Great Yi was, for them, no different from ascending to heaven in a single step.
Though they now lived within Cave Heaven spaces and could not yet contact the outside world, the resources and treatment they received were fully equal.
Everything a Great Yi Immortal City citizen could enjoy, they could enjoy as well. Nothing was lacking.
True equality.
Upon their relocation into the Immortal City, clerks immediately guided them through household registration, issued Heavenly Records Cards, distributed Star Watches, provided standard supplies, and assigned residences. All matters proceeded in perfect order.
And with the descent of each Immortal City, one could see that the surrounding earth veins and spiritual veins instinctively converged beneath the city—especially toward the innate spiritual vein born within the Cave Heaven itself. These veins coiled beneath the Immortal City, channeling unseen power that smoothed the land's qi. The newborn Cave Heaven instantly grew more stable, as if anchored by a divine needle pinning the seas.
Luck surged forth.
Earth luck, human luck, and heavenly luck—
In a flash, centered on the Immortal City, they gathered together. At once, the sound of a vast dragon's roar resounded, and a purple eight-clawed true dragon appeared in the void. Yet this dragon was tiny—barely a meter long, less than a yard. A wisp of golden merit cloud surrounded it, within which the dragon swam, emanating an indescribable majesty.
This was the condensed fate of the entire Cave Heaven, and it belonged to the Great Yi Immortal Court.
Normally, such fate would merge directly into the purple eight-clawed dragon above Xuanhuang Immortal City, becoming part of the national destiny. But now, it lingered above the Immortal City instead, refusing to pierce the boundary to return to the source.
Moreover, the endless fate continually generated within the Cave Heaven was all converging into this small true dragon, nourishing and strengthening it.
"Isolating the Cave Heaven from the outside world allows fate to accumulate here, yet prevents it from fusing into Great Yi's destiny. Still, if the seals were lifted, it could merge instantly into the national fortune, causing it to soar without limit," Yi Tianxing mused silently.
Such locked-away fate could accumulate endlessly—thousands, tens of thousands of zhang in length. Every Cave Heaven would be the same. If all were released together in the future, the once-unremarkable destiny dragon might reach the very peak in an instant. Such a sudden surge would shock countless enemies.
Without doubt, this was a deliberate concealment—Hiding one's strength, biding time for a decisive eruption.
At the critical moment, this reserve could stabilize Heaven and Earth.
Right now, Yi Tianxing could clearly sense Great Yi's population swell by hundreds of trillions in an instant. And this number would only grow, increasing at a geometric rate with each passing moment.
"Something's strange. A vast number of Great Yi's reserve talents have suddenly vanished at the same time. Some even disappeared along with their families. What is happening? No new domains have been reported as joining Great Yi—how could such a massive mobilization take place?"
"This is bizarre. There was no sign beforehand. If not for the mass disappearances, we wouldn't even have noticed. Could this be a prelude to some great move by Great Yi? Gathering so many talents—surely they must be preparing for external expansion."
"No, this information must be spread at once. If Great Yi really expands, the surrounding domains will be the first to suffer."
Hidden spies within Great Yi also sensed this strange development. Yet no matter how they investigated, they could uncover nothing. Their minds were left with only confusion, but their instincts screamed that a great move was underway. Powerless to understand, they could only pass the information along.
Unnoticed, many major forces around Great Yi shifted their gaze toward it, watching closely, desperate to pierce the mystery.
Xianyang, Great Qin.
Ying Zheng's eyes gleamed with unfathomable depth as he gazed toward Great Yi's direction and murmured:
"For Great Yi to mobilize so many capable officials, disappearing all at once, each one worthy to govern a city—this cannot be ordinary. Only expansion could require such a transfer of reserves. Yet no news has come of new domains joining Great Yi. If they are to expand, then where? Could it be some massive secret realm world?"
Countless thoughts churned through his mind, but in the end, he found no certain answer.
This unsettled him deeply.
He would never believe it was a simple adjustment. Clearly, the true secret was yet to be revealed.
"Great Yi is moving again. Hasn't the Immortal Palace leaked any accurate information?"
In the Hydra base, the faces of the leaders grew grave.
This time, even the Immortal Palace had no accurate intelligence. The secrecy was so high that not even they could trace it. If the Immortal Palace could not, then Hydra's other agents stood no chance.
"Let's keep observing in the shadows. In any case, the most important matter now is the Chaos Heavenly Ladder. Yongye has already decreed: in this battle, no matter the cost, the Eternal Heaven's Chosen must be slaughtered—especially those of Great Yi. Not one must be spared. All will be buried atop Buzhou Mountain, upon the Heavenly Ladder." The man in red declared firmly.
"In the domains we secretly control around Great Yi, ten are already under our shadow. More are infiltrated with our agents. They've already formed an Anti-Yi Alliance. There's no need to attack Great Yi directly. As long as we prevent its expansion, the dynasty's growth will stall. An Immortal Court must expand its territory to prosper. Block expansion, and you curb its rise. That will be our greatest success," the man in black said quickly.
They dared not strike openly. To do so would hand Great Yi the perfect excuse for war. They were far too shrewd to shatter this protective veil so recklessly.
"According to the reports from Yongye, the situation between our two realms will soon change drastically. The battlefield of two realms will reopen, and with it, the Demon Calamity will fully erupt. Yongye will strike at the God-Demon Battlefield, forcing the Eternal World to divert elite armies from every domain, leaving their interiors hollow. That will be our best chance to act," the man in green sneered.
Their hands held countless pieces of intelligence. Yongye's great move was close at hand.
"Not only that—rumor has it that a top Demon God of Yongye, the Dragon-Slaying Demon Lord, has already infiltrated the Eternal World. In his hands lies the Dragon-Slaying Saber, a blade that can kill true dragons and sever the masters of fortune dynasties without backlash, bound by no taboo. Lords of fortune dynasties are entangled in karmic fate and cannot be easily assassinated. But the Dragon-Slaying Demon Lord was born for the sole purpose of slaying dragons." The man in black said coldly.
