Chapter 2237 - Chapter 2215 – Ten Thousand Mountains

"What audacity, Eternal Night actually striking from the shadows!"

"That was none other than Yi Xianhuang of the Great Yi Immortal Court—he was targeted by that Eternal Night powerhouse! Such recklessness, so arrogant, completely disregarding us—it's outrageous."

"Fortunately, Yi Xianhuang isn't weak. Otherwise, if anything had happened to him, the foundations of the entire Eternal World would have suffered greatly. Our honor would have been utterly tarnished."

Across the world, numerous powerful beings glared with anger. Yi Tianxing's status in the Eternal World was pivotal. Not just anyone could touch him—certainly not Eternal Night. To strike Yi Tianxing was to challenge the Eternal World itself. It violated everyone's bottom line.

It also made clear the depth of Eternal Night's determination to kill Yi Tianxing. They wanted him crushed to the bone and turned to ashes—if he could die, he wouldn't be spared. Yet Yi Tianxing was no easy target.

Even with the Evil-Eye Sovereign personally attacking and resorting to underhanded means, he had failed. Clearly, to kill Yi Tianxing would be no simple feat—an almost impossible task.

This event was not only etched into Yi Tianxing's memory. Across the Eternal World, many great powers had quietly taken note. Some prodigies felt it personally. Soon, they would face Eternal Night's prodigies, and every loss or slight would have to be repaid in that battle. If the Evil-Eye Sovereign couldn't be reached, they would make up for it using Eternal Night prodigies instead.

The attention of these mighty beings left Yi Tianxing's presence deeply impressed in their minds. Even Saints would feel a shiver in the Evil-Eye Sovereign's presence—it was certainly not someone to provoke lightly.

The Nine-Dragon Chariot moved at incredible speed, soon arriving at the outskirts of the Ten Thousand Mountains.

"Your Majesty Yi Xianhuang, the Progenitor has been awaiting you in the War God Hall. Please, follow me."

At the edge of the mountains, a massive, towering barbarian warrior grinned broadly, his voice carrying a refreshing clarity, impossible to take offense at.

"Lead the way." Yi Tianxing nodded.

"Follow me."

The barbarian rode a massive black-winged, scale-covered tiger—a Black-Winged Dragon-Scale Tiger. With dragon blood coursing through it, it was a noble apex predator of the mountains. Once tamed, it became an extremely loyal and powerful mount, capable of assisting its master in combat.

Even under the suppression of the Primordial Nine Dragons, one could sense the tiger's slight fear—an inherent pressure embedded in its bloodline that could not be suppressed. At the slightest command, it leapt forward at incredible speed, eager to put distance between itself and danger.

Soon, deep within the mountains, a colossal divine mountain rose majestically. Palaces dotted its slopes, each filled with the strongest of the barbarian race. At the peak stood a massive, awe-inspiring palace.

Three gilded characters glimmered in grandeur: War God Hall!

This was the palace of the barbarian progenitor, Chiyou—the War God Hall, the spiritual heart of the barbarian people.

Guided by the barbarian warrior, the Nine-Dragon Chariot moved unimpeded, eventually stopping before the War God Hall. Yi Tianxing turned to Chang'e.

"After this, I may not have time to accompany you. Rest a while on the Ark. Once I finish my discussion with Chiyou, we will explore the Eternal Continent together."

"Please go ahead, Your Majesty. I was feeling a little tired anyway; I'll rest for a moment."

Inside the Nine-Dragon Chariot was a vast private space. It contained everything one could need, including comfortable cloud beds. The entire Chariot was like a mobile imperial palace.

Inside the War God Hall, Yi Tianxing observed the hall's interior. It was far from luxurious—simple and clean. Murals adorned the walls, vividly depicting the rise and development of the barbarian race, chronicling major events in lifelike detail. The murals exuded a raw, wild energy, transporting one to the age of primeval barbarism.

Yi Tianxing's gaze fell on the main hall, flickering with surprise. He noticed not just Chiyou, but a familiar figure in a red robe standing nearby—was it Rahu?

Chiyou himself was imposing. Broad-shouldered, with rugged features, a pair of jet-black horns atop his head, radiating authority and inspiring awe. His aura spoke of martial prowess, battlefield dominance—a true War God revered as the Lord of Arms by countless people. His strength was universally recognized.

"Daoist Rahu, what brings you here?" Yi Tianxing asked curiously.

Rahu was no ordinary figure. After the Slaughter of Heaven, he had vanished. It was said that he had completely conquered the Heaven Demon Realm in the Nine Heavens, even hiding in the void as his base. Over the years, he recruited countless demonic elites, solidifying his status as the Demon Ancestor. Outwardly calm, but his power had increased enormously.

He should have been busy with his demonic affairs. What could have brought him here? A great matter, surely.

"Yi Daoist, long time no see. How have you fared?" Rahu said with a smile.

"Not well. Earlier, I was nearly killed by an Eternal Night Sovereign. Eternal Night's hatred for me is unending," Yi Tianxing replied calmly.

"We witnessed it too. Eternal Night's conduct was beyond measure. Come, sit. You've been invited here for an important matter—one that may allow you to settle this score immediately." Chiyou said with a grin.

Yi Tianxing made himself comfortable on a throne. "For Rahu to appear here, it must be serious. If feasible, the Great Yi will definitely act against Eternal Night. We never shy from battle."

The Great Yi had never hesitated in confrontations against Eternal Night. On battlefields, in demonic lairs, or on the divine-demon frontlines, the Great Yi had fought relentlessly. Death was everywhere, yet the Yi Dynasty advanced and fought on, fearless.

"Daoist Yi, you know the value of the Ancestral vein in the world. Few things can compare. Each is a coveted target, capable of sustaining a Chaos Saint. Even Saints must treat them with utmost respect," Rahu explained.

"Indeed. An Ancestral vein can easily create an entire Immortal Court. Many covet them, but few acquire one. There are only a handful. Any dynasty aspiring to the Immortal Court must pursue them—they're essential." Yi Tianxing nodded.

Clearly, this was no trivial matter.

"Rest assured, these are not from the Eternal World, but from Eternal Night," Rahu said.

"From what I know, there are three Ancestral vein on the Eternal Night battlefield, sustaining its operations: the Shadow Line, the Blood Demon Line, and the Dragon-Demon Line. Each lies hidden in a protected stronghold. Outsiders can scarcely detect them, as they are controlled by Eternal Night's elite clans." Rahu's tone reflected detailed familiarity.

"Three Progenitor Lines… Eternal Night truly has deep foundations," Yi Tianxing said, taking a deep breath. He knew the divine-demon battlefield also had lines: one divine and one demonic, which could merge into the God-Demon Line. Their importance was immense—no one would dare touch them lightly.

"However, both Eternal Night and the divine-demon battlefield are currently sealed. Only the native forces—Dragon, Phoenix, and Qilin clans—serve as primary strength. With the battlefield closed, we cannot enter," Yi Tianxing said, shaking his head. This was the first major obstacle: entry.

"No worries. I know of a Divine-Demon Well leading to Eternal Night's battlefield. Though it was damaged last epoch, the coordinates still allow controlled passage. We can enter and exit a few times safely. Through it, we can reach Eternal Night directly, no need to wait for the battlefield to open," Luohou explained.

"Over the years, we've fought Eternal Night countless times. Usually, they sent cannon fodder, meaningless to fight. If we can seize an Ancestral vein from them, it would be a tremendous gain," Chiyou added, eyes blazing with battle intent.

"Two Daoists, I recently received some intelligence," Yi Tianxing said, his voice carrying weight.
