Chapter 1786 - Chapter 1767 – Wind, Rain, Thunder, Lightning

As the Blood Heaven Dao reached into the void, a rift tore open, and four figures were forcibly drawn into the space.

They appeared one after another, looking disheveled and startled.

Two men. Two women.

Each one radiated immense power, their very presence exuding the aura of laws—each was already at the seventh tier, and some had even begun to touch the eighth. They were like pillars of heaven, each one a massive conduit of universal power.

One had a bird-like face and a rugged appearance, with lightning-charged wings on his back. Sparks constantly flickered across his feathers, crackling with a wild, primal energy.

Another was a woman dressed in white palace robes, a lightning hairpin nestled in her flowing hair. Electric arcs danced around her form, and her features were obscured by a subtle force, though one could still sense she was stunningly beautiful, with a beauty that could topple nations.

The third was another woman, this one dressed in blue silk, her aura soft and gentle like a spring drizzle. Her beauty was no less, though her temperament was serene and delicate.

The final figure had three pairs of cyan wings, surrounded by a gentle breeze. His form seemed almost intangible—like a wind spirit who might vanish at any moment.

Though their auras were vastly different, they had one thing in common:

Their bodies were forged of pure law—they were God-Bodies, Innate Deities.

These were not mortals. They were the four innate deities of Wind, Rain, Thunder, and Lightning.

Each one wielded sovereignty over a law, capable of commanding the weather, directing the elements, summoning disasters with ease. They were terrifying in strength.

They weren't merely close companions—they had been born from the same region of the Myriad Realm fusion and could even fuse their essence to form powerful divine arrays.

Together, they possessed a companion innate treasure—the Divine Array Diagram of Wind, Rain, Thunder, and Lightning.

When combined, this array could unleash world-ending power, and even summon natural disasters at will. It was a force of divine authority, one that even stronger beings feared to provoke lightly.

The four of them had just been cultivating in seclusion, meditating on the laws, pursuing their own Dao…

And suddenly, with no resistance possible, they were forcefully summoned.

Their shock was immense—until they saw the nine colossal figures before them:

The Nine Heaven Dao Sovereigns.

The four exchanged glances, equally shaken. But they reacted swiftly:

"We, your humble servants, greet the Nine Dao. May your might be eternal."

Though the Wind, Rain, Thunder, and Lightning Deities were powerful—they were born of the heavens, children of the great Dao.

And the Nine Heaven Dao?

They were extensions of the Heavenly Will itself.

To the Four Deities, these figures were divine patriarchs. They dared not show a hint of disrespect.

"Rise," said the White Heaven Dao with a nod.

"Thank you, Lord Dao," the four responded in unison.

"We summoned you for a task," said the Yellow Heaven Dao."If you accomplish it well, we will personally assist you in proving your Dao, allowing you to ascend as Divine Kings."

Becoming a Divine King meant truly mastering a law, stepping into the Dao Realm—a god among gods.

Once someone proved the Dao, their rule over that law was eternal unless overthrown.

No one else could step into that same law-path unless they defeated the current sovereign in Dao combat.

Beyond that lay the Divine Emperor—complete mastery of a law.

At that point, one could rival even the Dao themselves.

Such a promise caused the Four Deities' hearts to race. Their breathing quickened—they couldn't hide their excitement.

This was the chance of an eternity.

"May we ask what task the Dao wish us to perform?" Thunder God asked solemnly.

They knew this wouldn't be easy—if even the Dao could not act directly, the task must be dangerous and delicate.

Still, if it meant a path to ascend, they would try.

"You are to descend upon the Great Yi Celestial Dynasty," said the Nether (Black) Heaven Dao coldly."Bring disaster upon them. Seize control of their weather—make their days cursed with calamities."

"Let their winds be turbulent, their rains unseasonal. Let lightning strike wanderers in the wild. Let thunder crash upon cities. Let their crops wither. Let their fortune falter."

"In short—suppress Great Yi's national destiny."

Then the Evil (Blue) Heaven Dao added:

"Ligthning Mother, Rain Goddess—you two are to infiltrate the imperial palace."Bewitch the Emperor. Entangle him in palace pleasures. Distract him from governance. Corrupt the dynasty from within."

His voice dripped with malice and vile energy.

But at this command, LigthningMother and Rain Goddess's expressions changed sharply.

They were not mere seductresses or enchantresses. They were divine beings, with dignity and pride. To act as palace harem temptresses was utterly beneath them.

"My Lords," said Ligthning Mother firmly,"This command… is something I cannot obey. It violates both my heart and my divine responsibilities."

"To do such a thing is to harm the nation, incite karma, and risk eternal damnation. It would shatter all chances of proving the Dao."

Thunder God immediately supported her:

"Indeed. Disrupting court affairs crosses a line."Creating storms and lightning—that is within our domain. But seducing the Emperor? That is not our way."

"Neither of my sisters is a vixen-spirit. They were not born to seduce kings. Please, Lords, assign that part of the task to others."

They had divine pride. Even before the Dao, there were limits they would not cross.

The Golden Heaven Dao shook his head and spoke calmly:

"Very well. If you will not, then we shall not force you. But you must still carry out the weather calamities. Within ten years, Great Yi must know endless disasters."

"Yes, Dao. We accept the mission," the four replied.

They turned and left swiftly—afraid further delay might drag them into more trouble.

Then, the Demon (Gray) Heaven Dao spoke, eyes glittering darkly:

"There are three fox demons in the Chiyou Tomb—all experts in enchantment. Bring them."

They couldn't force the innate gods to act against their will—not without losing face across all divine realms.

But fox spirits?

That was another story entirely.

He waved his hand.

Space rippled.

Three graceful, alluring women appeared in the void.

Their faces were full of fear and confusion—they'd been cultivating peacefully, then suddenly swept away by an overwhelming force.

They couldn't even resist.

Now, as they looked up and saw the towering Nine Dao Sovereigns, their hearts trembled in horror.

These were beings they never imagined meeting, let alone standing before.

"Red Moon!"

"Jiao Jiao!"

"Yu Niang!"

"We greet the Nine Dao. May your might endure forever."

They immediately knelt and bowed deeply, not daring to show the slightest disrespect.
