"Damn it! What kind of people are these?!"

The bandits' crude remarks about "entertainment" enraged Tsunade, and even Spring Rain Evening couldn't help but flush with anger. "These bastards!"

"If you already called them bastards, do you really think they're good people? Robbing money and women is exactly what they live for," Ronglin said calmly.

Tsunade's anger was palpable, and if the situation wasn't resolved quickly, it would only spell trouble for the three of them.

"Boss, those are Konoha shinobi!"

One of the sharper-eyed bandits noticed the forehead protectors worn by Ronglin and his teammates—clear symbols of their allegiance to the Hidden Leaf Village. It wasn't hard to spot, especially since Spring Rain Evening and Zhicheng Ying proudly displayed theirs on their foreheads.

"Konoha shinobi?"

The bandit leader's smile faltered as he turned his attention toward the trio, bursting into laughter. "Haha, you almost scared me there! I thought you were something special, but turns out you're just three brats!"

"Bastards!" Even the usually taciturn Zhicheng Ying couldn't suppress his anger at being belittled. Spring Rain Evening's face flushed an even deeper red.

Freshly graduated genin from the academy weren't taken seriously—they were seen as delicate flowers sheltered in a greenhouse, unable to withstand the harsh winds and rains of real combat.

"Looking for death!" Ronglin narrowed his eyes and charged directly at the bandit leader. "The other two are yours."

Among the bandits, there were three rogue shinobi; the rest were ordinary thugs. If Ronglin could take down these three rogues, the chaos would subside. As for the regular bandits, the caravan's guards were more than capable of handling them—it wasn't as though they were kept around for show.

"Everyone, charge! Kill these bandits!"

A group of caravan guards drew their weapons and charged forward with a shout. Ronglin's actions served as the signal to attack.

"Everyone, be careful! Leave these three brats to me!"

The bandit leader grinned maliciously and lunged toward Ronglin, his blade slicing through the air in an attempt to cleave him in two.

"Just a tiny genin against a chūnin like me? Dealing with three brats will be child's play!" the bandit leader thought confidently.

"Overestimating yourself…"

Ronglin snorted coldly. Thinking of him as some fragile flower was a grave mistake.

In an instant, Ronglin unleashed his speed, startling the charging bandit leader. "This one's tough! Everyone, stay alert!"

Clang!!!

The clash between kunai and blade shocked the bandit leader. The strength behind this "little brat's" attack nearly disarmed him, sending a powerful recoil up his arm that made it tremble uncontrollably.

"Just a bunch of trash."

Disappointment flickered across Ronglin's face. He had hoped these bandits might provide a decent challenge, but after just one exchange, he realized the bandit leader's abilities didn't match his arrogant tone.

This instantly killed any excitement Ronglin had for the fight.

"Fire Style: Great Fireball Technique!"

His hands moved rapidly through seals, completing the jutsu in the blink of an eye. Zhicheng Ying and Spring Rain Evening watched in stunned disbelief at how fast Ronglin executed the hand signs.

And wasn't the bandit leader supposed to be a chūnin? How could he fall so easily?

"No!!"

The bandit leader hadn't expected Ronglin's seal sequence to be so swift. A fireball the size of a washbasin hurtled toward him, leaving him no time to dodge or resist.

"Ahh!!"

With less than two meters separating them, the massive fireball slammed into the bandit leader. His agonized scream froze all the remaining bandits in their tracks as they stared in disbelief. Their seemingly invincible boss had been reduced to a charred corpse lying motionless on the ground.

So-called rogue shinobi were those who had no village to call home, forced to wander and survive through thievery or bounty hunting. These individuals were often pathetically weak. Though the bandit leader was technically a chūnin, his actual strength paled in comparison to many genin.

If Spring Rain Evening and Zhicheng Ying could overcome their fear of killing and the tension of battle, defeating this bandit leader would have been effortless for them as well.

Tak~

Ronglin landed gracefully, his cold gaze fixed on the blackened remains of the bandit leader. His heart remained calm, yet he felt a surge of exhilaration.

"Run!!"

Sensing Ronglin's icy stare, the remaining bandits panicked. Someone shouted, and the entire group—including the other two rogue shinobi—turned tail and fled without a second thought, abandoning even their leader's body.

"After them! Kill them all!!"

The convoy leader roared in fury. In their line of work, nothing infuriated them more than bandits. This chance to utterly crush their enemies was too good to pass up.

In moments, the caravan guards gave chase, weapons in hand. Bloodcurdling screams filled the air as heads rolled and bodies were hacked apart. Compared to the fiery demise of the bandit leader, the sight of severed limbs and mutilated corpses left a far greater impression.

Witnessing such carnage, Ronglin's eyebrows twitched slightly.

An overwhelming sensation surged within him. His Sharingan flared to life, its single tomoe spinning rapidly before evolving into a double-tomoe pattern. His heart raced with the thrill of battle, and the blood-soaked scene of severed limbs and gore deeply stimulated him. For all his maturity, this was his first time witnessing such brutality—and it directly triggered the evolution of his Sharingan.

Sharingan…

Hidden nearby and observing Team Tsunade, Tsunade herself was utterly shocked. She couldn't believe that Ronglin's Sharingan had evolved right then and there.

Uchiha Ronglin… only seven years old. What kind of monstrous talent was this? How many members of the Uchiha clan could claim to have awakened their Sharingan at this age, let alone evolved it? Ronglin's progress outpaced everyone else by leagues.

This forced Tsunade to admit that the Third Hokage's judgment was impeccable. As for the other two… Tsunade furrowed her brow deeply.

"Urgh~"

Such graphic violence was something Zhicheng Ying and Spring Rain Evening had never witnessed before. Their faces turned pale, their stomachs churned, and the morning's meal—now resembling the colors of the gruesome scene before them—forced them to vomit uncontrollably.

Though this reaction was understandable, when compared to Ronglin's composure, Tsunade couldn't help but feel deeply disappointed in them.

With their leader defeated in an instant, the remaining bandits met a grim fate. Chased down and mercilessly slaughtered by the caravan guards, the skirmish devolved into a one-sided massacre. Along the pursuit route lay countless bodies, each soaked in blood, painting a grim picture of vengeance.
