The next morning, Cen Jin got up early. Ms. Qin was surprised to see she was already washed and dressed, and even looked at the wall clock in the living room, thinking it was broken, and asked in surprise, "It's only 7:20, why are you up so early today?"
Normally, she would get up around eight, and leave the house between eight thirty and nine. Even on busy days recently, she would leave around eight.
Cen Jin pulled out a chair and sat down, a bright smile on her face as she took a sip of steaming soy milk. "Perhaps I slept early last night! Once I woke up, I couldn't get back to sleep."
Ms. Qin brought over some boiled eggs, rested her hands on the table, and looked at her. "Did you find money or win the lottery? I noticed something different when you came back yesterday."
"What's different?" Cen Jin glanced at Ms. Qin with dissatisfaction, muttering her question back, but the smile on her face didn't fade.
