"Can you get up by yourself?" Tang Yuxiu's tone was calm, giving no hint of emotion.
Gu Yan forced a smile, a bit stiff.
"I can." She hadn't twisted her ankle, aside from the pain from the fall on the stairs, she could get up without any issue.
Tang Yuxiu held his phone for light, "Then get up by yourself. Go sit on the sofa for a bit. There's a problem with the circuit, I'll go out and fix it."
Gu Yan stood up, looking at him in confusion, "Do you know how to fix it?"
Tang Yuxiu frowned slightly, the light from the phone was too dim for her to see his slightly reddened ears.
"A little bit."
When he said "a little bit," Gu Yan couldn't help but seriously doubt it, thinking he probably didn't know how at all.
Tang Yuxiu glanced sideways, actually, when he went out to fix the circuit, it was really just on a whim because he didn't want Gu Yan to be scared up there in the darkness alone.
But he had been trying for quite a while and still couldn't figure out the problem.
