Eva Price had a very good impression of Edward Sanders.
But she wouldn't force her daughter to accept someone she didn't like just because she thought he was nice. She gently advised, "Why don't you spend more time with him? You might grow to like him! Such a good guy, it'd be a pity to miss out."
Zoe Lewis shook her head, "No, I don't have time. I'm planning to start learning how to drive."
"Learning to drive? Isn't that a bit dangerous? What if…"
Zoe laughed, "Mom, you worry too much. So many people learn to drive, it's fine, don't worry!"
After comforting Eva Price and having dinner with her, Zoe returned to her room.
She took out her phone for a quick look; no messages from anyone.
She took a shower and checked again; still no messages.
She blow-dried her hair, applied some body lotion, put on a face mask, and looked at her phone again; still not a word from anyone.
Zoe felt frustrated!
What was she waiting for? Was she being ridiculous?
