Qiao Mo silently watched the scenery outside the window, having to admit that Louis considered things further than she did.
It wasn't long before a call from Fu Nancheng came in.
Qiao Mo braced herself and answered the phone.
"Where are you?" His voice was deep, making it hard for her to discern his emotions.
"I'm...in the car," Qiao Mo cautiously replied.
A moment of silence on the other end, it was evident that he had guessed she was in Louis's car.
A few seconds later, he spoke in a gentle voice, "I saw the news. Don't worry, I've already sent people to shut it down."
Qiao Mo's heart warmed, and she softly said, "It's fine, these kinds of rumors pop up every day. After a while, people won't pay them much mind."
"I don't like it," he said warmly.
Qiao Mo was taken aback for a moment, a slight smile appearing on her lips: "I'm really okay, you shouldn't let this kind of thing affect your mood. We still have to hold the wedding soon."
"Yeah, come home early."
"Got it."
