Iris Harris closed her eyes and endured for a moment. When she opened them, she realized she could already see the hazy light and shadow within the room.
Her vision gradually became clearer, and Iris breathed lightly, seeing Henry Ford sitting not far away, gazing at her with amusement.
As if unable to bear looking at that face, Iris slowly withdrew her gaze. She raised her hand and forcefully wiped her lips, erasing the bloodstains he left on them, but the metallic taste of blood lingered stubbornly on her tongue, refusing to disappear.
