Iris Harris stayed out until twilight before returning home.
She didn't want to return to the Hyde Residence, but aside from there, she had nowhere else to go in this city.
As she arrived at the Hyde Residence, she saw Brandan's car parked on the lawn. As Iris walked inside and Brandan had just gotten out of the car, her carefree and happy expression inexplicably stiffened upon seeing him.
The man walked over, naturally took her hand, and led her into the house.
Brandan asked, "You haven't been back all afternoon, where did you go?"
His tone was calm, yet Iris found herself inexplicably tense inside, feeling a bit of baseless panic.
Perhaps it was a guilty conscience, her heartbeat quickened, and her palm, which Brandan held, began to sweat.
After dining with Lady Hyde and the others, Iris bounded upstairs like a rabbit, while Lady Hyde looked at her back and sighed.
Brandan leaned against the sofa, looking at his phone, on which were Iris's movements for the day.
